I have an older laptop and the keyboard had buckled. Turns out this means your battery is swelling. The staff was very helpful and had me bring it in right away as apparently this can cause my laptop to start on fire. They removed my battery and gave me pricing on what a new battery would cost while at the same time letting me know I could still use it without a battery when plugged in. Just that it would be slower. I'll always refer people to a place that builds trust like this, and will likely purchase a refurbished laptop before windows 11 is required, as mine is too old to support it.

I was in need of a solution to fix or replace my aging laptop. The staff was very helpful and had a used laptop replacement that was just what I needed and at a price I could afford. They helped in transferring my files to the new pc and with taking out my old drive as a backup. They have always been very attentive to me and my family and I am glad they are around.

Austin and Mike were awesome! Honest, incredibly knowledgeable and refreshingly trustworthy! Did I mention they were also more than fair on the pricing for my laptop!

Brought a Nintendo Switch here for repair, they diagnosed the issue quickly which was appreciated. Nearly two weeks have gone by and we learn today they haven't even begun repairing it. No communication without us having to ask them first. They told us they're down a technician which I understand makes business harder but to not communicate any delays like that is frustrating. We've had good experiences here in the past, even recently, but this is extremely frustrating to deal with when we could've brought the device to a different shop that could've had it done sooner.

Do Not come to this place for switch repairs. brought in a switch to be repaired at the beginning of the year, they gave us a diagnosis and everything, then they held onto it for 2 weeks telling me that they were fixing it. was told today that they never even started working on it, even after multiple phone calls confirming that it was being currently worked on (that was a week ago, they lied).

I'm neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with the service here. I dropped off an SD card to try to recover photos that were just taken on it days before (10GB of photos). I was told it would take a day or two. It took almost two weeks, I had to call 3 times asking about it. I was finally told that they couldn't figure it out, they could see that there was data on the card but couldn't find it. I ended up mailing my SD card to a family friend who does "computer stuff" for fun, he found the pictures and sent them all to me in a OneDrive link after two days Nice people here, not great at communication though

Techmate is a great place to get help with your laptop and other devices, especially if you are in tech denial like me Honest, helpful, and transparent!!! I will not go anywhere else for my tech needs

I brought my son's laptop here twice so far. Both times it was fixed promptly and at a reasonable price. These guys are fantastic at what they do.
