Beatnik

This place is a perfect destination spot! Close to Biloxi, only have to cross the bridge. Very clean and super stylish!! Bed is super comfy and the room is very spacious. Love the screened balcony and the small courtyard outback! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area and I would definitely book again myself. I also love that its a smaller motel with a super cute pool and outdoor area. Host answers quickly and will help with anything. I think I could go on and on..!

The Beatnik is a gem in the quaint town of Ocean Springs. It's like a tiny home. So comfortable and layout perfectly. I could absolutely live here. The property is fantastic and felt so safe . Didn't have any problems, all good. 10min walk to the fabulous down town and the Lazy Oak is a great brunch place , just steps from the Beat Nik. I would recommend it to everyone and I will be returning.

Beatnik was a hidden gem. The modern independent room/ cabin with screen enclosed Terrance with rocking chairs and table were perfect to enjoy coffee and relax. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. In the middle open space there was cool built in Bunk bed with twin since mattresses, a full equipped kitchenette with fridge, sink, plates, glasses , mugs to enjoy the coffee and teas that is supplied, toaster and small toaster oven. The clean bathroom was minimal and modern. The back private enclosed terrace had a hammock and shower, which was nice to use after the pool. There is a beautiful fire pit to relax around. I went with my sister and mother during a road trip. Ocean Springs and The Beatnik were the highlight of our trip. Will definitely stay here again!!! Matthew, Vanessa and Karen

This was my 3rd stay at the Beatnik, and we always rent all 4 cabins. The rooms and grounds are very nice, but there were several strangers that wandered through the walkway next to the pool throughout the day. We thought nothing of it, but our coolers and belongings left outside were stolen the night of October 18. I reported this to the management / owners to make sure they are aware. I was not looking for reimbursement, just letting them know what happened so they can warn future guests or secure the property. I received no response. I believe the ownership group is focused on expansion of other nearby properties. Sadly, the Beatnik is being left behind.

Went to Ocean Springs for the Peter Anderson Festival and stayed 3 nights at the Beat Nik. The cabins are really wonderful constructed, like a tiny home, and are so comfortable. I could live there. The property is wonderful and felt perfectly safe with no problems at all. I will be returning to the Beat Nik again.

We loved our stay at the Beatnik! We enjoyed a last-weekend-before-school-starts hoorah with three other families, each family in a cabin. The kids had a wonderful time, the cabins were excellent, and the parents enjoyed the time too. Highly recommend, especially with a group.

Enjoyed the stay. Would welcome a handrail for the pool to assist getting in and out. The water feature makes the grounds lovely. Enjoyed screened in porch. Bed was very comfy but low. Nice get away. Adding a small microwave would be nice. Mini fridge was great . My husband enjoyed being able to make his coffee. It s close but off the beaten path. We didn't t take our pup but it is nice for pets.

Just finished up with my 6th night at the Beatnik. I can't recommend this place enough. If you like being in the mix of downtown Ocean Springs and enjoy the peacefulness of the oak covered streets then this is your spot! It was a little too cool to enjoy the pool this time around, but I did take advantage of the outdoor shower that's part of each cabin. I work from my laptop and the built in work area in each unit is perfect for that daily deep work section we all need! And the reading nooks have me wanting to remodel my house just to make something as equally cozy. This is a 6 start stay out of 5. Do yourself a favor and book the stay!
