Candlewood Suites was Awesome. The Staff at the Front Desk were very Polite and Professional Job well! done. And they Assured us that our room were Perfectly Clean. Also, I would like to Thank the Kitchens staff Ladie's job well done! The Breakfast was GREAT! Keep up the good work .

VERY IMPORTANT!!! Be sure to ask for instructions before you leave the visitor center as to how to drive through the gate! It is not intuitive at all! You must follow the signs to exit the base in order to circle back around and go through the gate. Other than that, our experience was great! Security was polite and efficient.

Extremely busy and extremely unfriendly and serious. You are not allowed to approach any person working there. You must take a number and wait for your turn. Business only. Lots of chairs, although I still ended up standing. I'd hate to have a problem there. I don't think they would be very forgiving, but for good reason. They are only doing their job to keep our soldiers and the base safe.

I spent an hour and a half here it was awful two people going so slowly trying to help out over 100. We all had to be somewhere at a specific time. I had an email stating I was all good to come on base. I applied everyone else applied in my family got in, but someone has the same name as me that has a criminal record that should've been figured out by Social Security number address and by my husband's name connection it is ridiculous that they thought I was that person somehow that's funny. I had to submit my drivers license as well I social address. How do I know I would've gone days earlier I called I was reassured. I had an email. I was so upset. I was crying. There was parents puking in the parking lot because they were so upset about what was happening. This needs more attention.

I have been fortunate to live here twice now and due to Mr.Vise thinking he god almighty is infringing on my rights claiming I need a escorts by my wife when never needed been to Germany and back but since people have power issues wrong is right in there eyes so stay prayed up the devil is a lie and thanks to all the real troops and stand up Americans who don't hate just because God bless and God keep you all godspeed

I am an army vet and have never been denied access to a base but have never gone and gotten an ID from the VA, it is just on my real ID that I sent them. I applied for a visitor pass to see my son graduate basic training and got denied and they don't give any specific reason why. When I ask why they tell me to send certified copies of a document I am unaware that even exists or where to get it but they won't tell me anything. Then when I call the visitor center to try talking to someone rather than going back and forth in an email someone picks up the phone just long enough for me to hear someone talking in the background and then to click the phone back down. Very unprofessional.

Make sure you have your REAL ID. they don't take regular DLs or bring extra government documents. Missing my sons graduation because I wasn't informed.....

Memories from basic training September 1987 and AIT 88m . From my understanding, boot camp is easier now than it was when I served . It's really been updated since I served. Not a bad place to serve.
