Best Western Plus Capital Inn

This hotel is very clean and has exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms are HUGE, practically suites. And it's so cheap to stay here! The pool area was clean and the pool was warm and relaxing. The front desk woman was so helpful and friendly during my stay. I will definitely be staying at this hotel every time I'm in Jefferson City.

We were in town for a funeral and stayed here 4 nights. I was impressed at the quality of this hotel for its price point. It appeared that the hotel was new or perhaps recently renovated. It is in a safe location and was very clean & quiet during our stay. Bed was very comfortable. I want to give special recognition to Hanna, the front desk clerk. She went above and beyond! First, we were checking in just as the severe weather system (heavy rains, high winds) was passing thru Jefferson City. Hanna didn't miss a beat. While she was checking us in and found out that we were staying 4 nights, she told me she would try to get us a better rate...and she did!! Secondly, I had problems with my room keys and couldn't get into my room. Hanna reprogrammed my keys and I still had issues. So she switched me to a different room. I offhandedly mentioned that I liked the location of the first room but I thanked her for getting me another room. A few minutes later, we had just arrived at our second room and Hanna came to our door. She told us she had fixed the room key on the first room if we still wanted it. We said yes, absolutely. I asked her how she fixed it and she said she replaced the battery on the lock. Wow...great customer service, thanks Hanna!! Overall this hotel is a great find...highly recommend.

We have stayed a couple of other places, but this is our regular go-to whenever we are in Jefferson City. We are in town a couple of times a year on business. We are always very pleased with our stay here, and it is something I look forward to - just a pleasant experience. I gave it a 4 on location, because it kind of depends on your preference. It is on the edge of town, so a little further away from the Capitol and a lot of the office buildings. Some would prefer to be closer, though it's not that far of a drive. Personally, I like the fact it's not right in the middle of everything. A little quieter when you go outside than if you were right in the middle of the busy section of the town.

We were only here for a night, but it was amazing! Everything seems to look nice, clean, and well taken care of. Our room had no problems and breakfast was one of the best ones I have had at a hotel! I would recommend this hotel for whatever you need.

Positive: Very clean and comfortable environment. The pool was excellent, most of the staff members were friendly and happy. Negative: The lady who runs the breakfast area often sat with an older gentleman and talked, like she was only there to see him. This affected the quality of the food. The milk went bad, the eggs were hard, etc. Our bathroom door didn't lock, easy fix.

When we first arrived, the room given to us was not cleaned so we had to lug all our stuff from the upper floor back to the lobby. They put us in another room. When we walked inside, the air did not work and room was hot. They had to look for maintenance guy to fix it. The remote did not work unless you stand directly in front of the tv and put it a foot away from tv. That defeats the whole purpose of having a remote! Then worst thing happened at night at 10pm. My son was about to sleep and he called me to look under the sheets in the bed. There was a wet spot under the blanket. When we lifted up the fitted sheet, the mattress topper under had a huge wet yellow spot in the middle! Disgusting! It looked like whoever slept there the night before peed in the bed and housekeeping did not clean and replace topper but only changed the fitted sheets. I went across the room to the to call front desk and the phone in the room it does not work!!! I plugged and unplugged, nothing. I told my son to put on his shoes so we can walk to the lobby. There was only one person working that night and she was apologetic and shocked. She came in to remove the sheets and sprayed lysol on the mattress and just put new sheets on. She said she wasn't sure what housekeeping usually does when someone pees on the bed, and brought the lysol. We were not offered a new clean room. So my kids basically slept on pee bed!! It was past 10pm that night and we had nowhere to go. We complained the next day and they just slightly discounted our rate. With that horrible experience we should have never been charged at all. That was the worst stay at a hotel we have experienced. We will never stay there again! Save your money and book somewhere else!

I stay here once a month and it is always a good visit. The room is cozy and I like the pillows. The breakfast has always been decent, but since Kelly started working in there it has improved drastically. You can tell that she takes a ton of pride in preparing the meal. You will definitely not be disappointed with the breakfast here. Great job, Kelly!

This hotel is very good hotel to stay in, clean, nice, the breakfast was good. Ease parking, beautiful atmosphere, very quit. I recommended for everybody.
