The worst crooks that I have worked with recently. !!STOP Auto Pay Immediately with then!! They raised our every 3 month bill from around $50 --> $90 --> $107, while our neighbors bill stayed around $50. We called and canceled our service at the beginning of December, but they still pulled money for the Jan-March bill on 12/15 since we had ACH setup. We called again and tried to get our money back and they stated they would give it back. They picked up our Trash can beginning on January and just found out that they will not be giving our money back and charged us around $60 to remove our trash can and is only giving us $8 of our money back out of the $107. I would strongly recommend everyone to remove Auto Pay with this company first, next cancel, and then switch to a more reputable company like M&W Hauling.
Couple times a year this company does not pick up trash. I can understand due to weather, however they will not pick up as soon as weather clears. Sometimes you can go weeks without pick up. They will also not communicate when the service will be restored unless you spend 45 minutes on the phone to talk to a representitive. Republics "solution" is Just throw all you trash by the bin and we will pick it all up when we run. Problem is that you cannot do that when you live in the country because the critters will string it halfway across the county before they pick it up. Furthermore since I moved in 8 years ago the trash service cost has more than doubled for the horrible service. Problem is living in the country, main paved road not gravel by the way, it is difficult to find other providers so you are stuck and they know it. God forbid you ask for a refund on services not rendered, You will get a big fat no on that.
Absolute worst experience in my life (of 71 years) with front office staff in any business venue I've worked with. The woman we spoke with (someone named Jessica) literally yelled so loud at my husband that I could hear her, on the phone, from across the room! Is this the way you treat everyone, or just senior adults??
They will not update your autopay, charge late fees, then when you pay it, a week later they won't notice and take your trashcan and make you wait on hold for at least an hour and a half at the time of writing, im still on hold mind you, to get it back.
How does this company manage to stay in business? It appears that the women in the office are consistently gruff, bitter individuals I've had the pleasure of interacting with. When entering the office, they seem unable to communicate and instead glare at you even when addressed. I've never encountered such surprisingly haughty women working for a "trash" company that somehow still keeps its doors open. Is your job so professional in the trash industry that you can snub people and turn your nose up at them when they walk in? Have you forgotten that we are paying customers? Should I remind you that you work for a "trash company" absolutely nothing to be hoity toity about. Your attitudes stink as bad as the trash you collect.
Zero stars are deserved. The elderly woman with short brown hair and glasses is the rudest. Her glare speaks for itself. Please reevaluate your staff in building A. Hard to believe we paid to be treated like the trash we were dropping off.
I'd leave a zero if I could. Republic did not tell me I authorized a pickup after 7 days with a 4 day holiday vacation. So Republic picked up an EMPTY 20 cubic yard roll off. It cost me $437 to have a container sit in my yard.
Well, it happened again. Our trash was not picked up on the scheduled Thursday morning (the 29th) so I called them around noon that day, which I was told before that it is my responsibility to contact them when it's not picked up on pickup day (not sure what I'm supposed to do when I'm not home that day?). Anyway, I talked to 'Omar' who said they were running late. Thursday went by, no pickup. Friday went by, no pickup. Saturday, we had company over (with the stinky trash in the air), no pickup. Sunday, we had company over (with the stinky trash in the air), no pickup. Monday morning (the 2nd), the trash is picked up. This is what they call running late? Absolutely ridiculous! So tired of paying for a weekly service and not being serviced.
