After 20+ years of service we ended up switching 3 lines over to spectrum because even though we told the salesman, Joe, exactly what we wanted he twisted his words and did the exact opposite. Luckily I caught it before we left the store with the two new phones. However our old phones were deactivated and the new paid for. Everything had to be reset and refunded. (An "upgrade" is not an upgrade for you folks! It's for them, to force you to buy a higher price data plan.) The manager just shook his head. After we switched I tried to get the last bill and the rep couldn't help me because I don't have a pin and apparently that is the only way to get a copy of your bill other than physically going into the "corporate office." It wipes everything from online! They would not email anything. Currently it has been over 30 minutes on the phone with them and they can't figure it out. All this technology and they can't access or send a previously paid bill to a person and PAY representatives to be on the phone for this long to accomplish nothing.

After swatting down 3 upsells, (home internet, a 700$ phone purchase, and cancelling my current line and starting a new one for a higher monthly price), 1 rude comment towards the saleswoman I was with about how I'm well aware a samsung s24 phone is newer than an Iphone 8, and subsequently, 8 minutes of awkward silence, the store finally accomplished the task of switching over my old phone to the new one I provided. This has been FAR and away the best experience I've ever had in a Verizon store. It is these peoples job to sell you things you don't need, and they will be passive aggressive towards you when they realize they aren't going to make the commissions they'd hoped for. But, do not be concerned. If you match their scammy energy hard enough, they'll usually just do what you ask. 10/10
