We had windstream in our Minden home for 6 years in April when lost our home in a tornado the next week we tried to cancel our service and got the run around with this company couldn't speak with anyone state side to help us now we owe over 500 on a 100 dollars bill thanks for kicking people while there down worst company we've had to deal with I would never recommend this company to anyone

The absolute worst phone customer service available. I have multiple residential and business accounts with Windstream/Kinetic. The local technicians are great. The telephone technical support create more headaches and service doesn't get restored until a local technician comes out. Customer service over the phone just continues to transfer your call to others until one eventually disconnects the call. Three months ago I sold a property, the new owner took the service over and Kinetic is billing us both for the service even though they show that my account is canceled but the autopay is still active. I have been transferred around to different reps for over an hour on three different occasions trying to get refunded for the double billing. I finally had a rep tell me that Kinetic does not offer refunds that you have to dispute the charges with your bank.

There's only one nice thing to say, service doesn't go down often. Since I pay the premium package and get about someone average service. Customer service is impossible. It is the worst company I've ever had to work with, if we didn't live in a small town with only this option or satellite I would never stay with them. I understand why they went bankrupt and I know they will again because they are absolute nightmares to work with. They always say they're sorry and then you sit on the phone for an hour and a half when you call just get a hold of someone about a billing question. I have been hung up on 20 min waits at least 5 times in three years. That is not including the call back and reading up on the same day. This company is the worst on a good day.

outsourced call center to Caribbean. Hard to understand and person did not know what was going on. after an hour on the phone with him, I had to tell him there was an outage in my area because that is what the app eventually said. He didn't believe me. Long story short I was on the phone with 7 different people for 4 hours today and they do not care if their customers leave or go. customer is NOT ever right here. so very rude even the managers. If you work from home do not go with the company unless you can go big time frames with internet with no reimbursement. horrible customer service!

My service is consistently spotty and I cant run more than 2 devices at the same time in my 400 sqft home without interruption. Overpaid for many, many months for speed not available in my area and only received a 50$ credit for a 250$+ overpayment. Cant wait until i move so i can change service! The. Worst.

Called this store and was sent to an automated message, fine no problem. Message says press 1 for yada yada press 2 for everything else. So I press two and I'm told I'll be blocked if I call again! Why give two options if one is a threat?!

My service here is terrible. It's the only provider in this location, so there no other options available. Prices are high & the speeds are stupid slow. Sometimes, down loads are .6 MB's . I used to have better performance on dialup connections. I can't wait to have a different option. The service has been down completely for half of the days this month.

Absolute worst internet I've ever had, even worse than the service I had in England and Korea. The website states "Fast, Reliable Internet," but that's only if you pay through the nose for it. We pay $100 a month for "Max Speed" and dial-up levels. Even if we are running the absolute bare minimum of one computer trying to browse online, the internet crawls. We also experience regular outtages every night at 11 p.m. This is, without a doubt, the worst company for internet in the state. They will try to make you pay more for faster internet. I am about to switch providers to someone who charges the same amount I'm paying now for internet that's supposed to be twice as fast, and I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it. I'm so looking forward to being free of Windstream by the end of this month after 4 years of putting up with their oh-so-1999 level of technology. The internet Windstream provides is absolutely unacceptable, especially for people like me who rely heavily upon the internet to conduct their business. The speed is appalling, as is the fact that they try to upsell you from what shouldn't be crappy internet in the first place. I would give negative stars if possible.
