Work and Travel Lodge

I'm a J1 student from Malaysia, and my stay at the Work and Travel Lodge has been an amazing experience! What I liked best was how welcoming and thoughtful the environment was -- it truly felt like a home away from home. My favorite part was the incredible trips the landlord organized -- like visits to Philadelphia, Cape May, and the Cape May Zoo. They always made sure we had a great time and even treated us to delicious food. Pizza nights were definitely a highlight! Maria and Abdoul were always so kind and helpful, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Mama Maria even made us desserts, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. I highly recommend staying at the Work and Travel Lodge -- the hospitality, fun activities, and warm atmosphere make it the perfect place for J1 students!

Hi, My name is Lee E Tong. I am a J1 Student from Malaysia and have a good stayed in Work And Travel Lodge Atlantic City during my Work and Travel Winter 2025. What i liked most about the Work and Travel Lodge Atlantic City is the people over there are really nice, especially Mama Maria. She is like a mother in another country to me. She took care of us like a mother did. I felt like home offer there. My favourite activity is the Pizza Party provided by the stay, which makes us bond together and get to know each other more from different culture. You should definitely try this instead of renting an airbnb because you cannot get any other experience like this.

I'm Carlos, and I'm from Lima, Peru. I really liked the accommodation. It was very comfortable. The experience I had was wonderful. I was able to meet a lot of good people here. My favorite activity at the beginning was when we went to a small village themed around Christmas. I recommend future J1s to stay here for the experience they'll have and the new people they'll meet.

Hi, I'm J1, my name is Guillermo del Pielago and I'm from Peru . I really enjoyed staying at Work and Travel Lodge because people here are very helpful and always willing to assist. It's a 25-minute walk from my job, I had my own room, and the service from Maria and Abdoul at the lodge, as well as Emily online, was excellent, fast, and efficient. They also organize social events like dinners and trips, which make the experience even more fun. I recommend this place to all J1s who want to feel comfortable, safe, and well taken care of during their stay.

I am a Work and Travel student working as Lifeguard in Showboat Island Water Park. It's nice and comfy to walk from here to Showboat through Broad walk although it took about 25min. The beach view with ,, makes the walk more enjoyable, i feed them while walk to work everytime. It's good to stay in WAT LODGE because we got free bus tickets to philadelphia, cape may etc during winter time. Other than that, WAT Lodge will occasionally having Parties with BBQ & Pizza Dinner. Mdm. Maria the Person in Charge here will baked some cookies / cupcakes /brownies every week for you to enjoy for FREE! i like the bathroom here, it's clean, big and comfy. Ma^2 Maria will deep clean the bathroom & house weekly to so i feel comfortable staying here. No regards staying here.

I am Sebastian Diaz a J1 student from Peru. What I liked about my entire stay at the Work and Travel Lodge was that I felt at home. They had numerous activities where we could spend time with other J1s. One of my favorite activities was the pizza nights. I recommend the place because it's organized, clean, and safe.

I'm a J1 from Peru who came to stay for about three months. I really enjoyed sharing experiences with new people from different countries, which made it even more fun in the common room because of the games they have, like pool. I would recommend this place to meet new people and practice your English.

I am J1 student and I am from Turkey. I worked in the Ocean Casino.As a J1 student, I had a great experience staying at this housing. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They organized events and even took us to explore many places around the area, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
