Disappointed and Misled - Not the SEO Service We Were Promised As a small roadside services company based in Florida, we reached out to MSH with the intention of improving our SEO presence. During the sales process, we were led to believe that we'd receive dedicated SEO support -- something we truly needed to grow our organic visibility. However, after signing on, we were instead handed off to a Google Ads PPC specialist and enrolled in a pay-per-click campaign -- a service we were already experienced with and explicitly stated we didn't need. Despite being assured that SEO could be discussed later down the line, this never happened. We were told a landing page would be provided -- it never was. Follow-ups were met with vague responses like "it takes time to see results," and the only real communication we received were generic campaign reports. When I reached out to our original account manager for clarity, I was passed off to a customer care specialist furthermore, she didn't even address me by my correct name. What does it say when you send an email, and the respondent addresses you with the wrong name. This shows that they clearly are not in it to truly help you. We spent nearly $1,800 over three months with little to no measurable return, and no improvement in our online presence. For a small business, that kind of spending is a significant investment, and we feel misled and disappointed. I'm writing this review not out of bitterness, but to help other small businesses avoid similar pitfalls. If you're considering MSH for SEO or digital marketing, proceed with caution and make sure all deliverables are clearly documented up front. Our experience felt more like a sales push than a true partnership -- and unfortunately, it came at a cost.

Mainstreet host did nothing for us and were ridiculously slow. They promised completion within the month and it took them more than month to even contact us to start. We were given 3 completion dates and finally 6 months later they claim to have completed the project. We have had no increase in traffic, not even a blip. Shopify SEO stats went down from what they were before they worked on the page and now Shopiy says there is no HTML map. We have requested a refund and are considering contacting a lawyer to help us. If we could give a zero or negative number for a rating we would. Do not use these scammers!

My company Easy Open Garage Door, LLC in Heathsville, VA was contacted by Main Street Host about my Website optimization. They convinced through conversation that I was not receiving coverage in my local area due to verbiage on the site that they could correct. After a few months of not seeing any results I asked for a refund. I was contacted by the salesman saying we were indeed receiving more calls and that given more time we would see results. Zero proof was given. Just verbal assurances. No contact outside the original sales calls and the person who was supposed to be assigned to the task of optimizing my site that did not know who I was when she called. She asked me the name of my company and what it was that she had been assigned to do. Now after six months i still have not seen a difference in results. Zero correspondence of any kind. I once again emailed them with my dissatisfaction and asked for a refund of unused time on the contract. They informed me that there will be no refund. I have blocked them from accessing my site and will chalk this up to a lesson learned. DO NOT TRUST TELEMARKETERS!!!!!!!! I would sue them if it was worth the time and money but the best education is not free.

There is a reason we did not give a 5 star review. We hired this company to handle our sites SEO. Our point of contact Chris F. is an amazing resource that works at this company. He has a unique way of simplifying problems as well as fixing and enhancing our sites SEO. The only reason we are not giving 5 stars is due to the lack of service from the companies sales management. We asked for a quote on a site rebuild with Jim (manager) back on 10/17/24 and still have yet to hear back. With the exception of Chris (because he has been great!) we are very disappointed with the lack of follow up from this company, especially when we needed it the most. Where is the customer support?
