International Student Exchange

Hosting quickly went from an idea to reality for our family in 2021. We saw a Facebook post, reached out, filled out the Host Family Application, and the next day we were approved! Our first student arrived in August, and we loved hosting so much that we took our second student in December. We had such amazing support from our local rep and the Regional Manager, that I decided to become an Area Representative and help bring more students to our area! Cultural Exchange wasn't just a "thing", it became a way of life! Fast forward to now, April 2024, and we have hosted 5 students from Belgium, Brazil, Spain, and Japan. Next year, we will be hosting students from Germany and Italy. Our kids absolutely love having older exchange siblings, and as a family, we love learning about new cultures. As the current Regional Manager, I have made so many new friends through student exchange. This isn't a job for me, but a way to spend my days helping others. The support from the very top of ISE all the way around from Program Managers, other Regional Managers, Area Representatives, Schools, and Host Families has been amazing. My family will continue hosting through the years, because this experience means showing our kids the world and creating bonds right here from our small town in Nevada! Thank you ISE, for giving us this opportunity and helping us grow our family!

ISE is a great organization to work with. I have hosted several exchange students through ISE and enjoyed working with them as a host parent so much that I became an Area Representative. They treat everyone involved in the organization wonderfully.

We are currently hosting our 7th student, and ISE is our 3rd agency to host with. I was not impressed with the first two, mainly because of the lack of support from the local reps and HQ when we had difficulties. I did a TON of research on various excahnge organizations, called and spoke with them, etc. Wow! ISE really stood out to me even before we began hosting. The regional manager spent 45 minutes with me on the phone, mainly just listening to me complain about our difficult experieneces with the previous agency. She helped me to understand the problems and made me feel better that day. Anyway, of course I began hosting with ISE, and next year will be our 5th ISE student. We have had fabulous experiences, and the best part has been that the local rep, the regional manager AND HQ have been there for me when I needed them. My local rep has been wonderful, and that has prevented any real problems. She has talked to our students right away if anything was difficult and also just lent an ear! After hosting 3 students, I decided to become an Area Representative. I love this company - they are like family. I recently went to a training with staff from the main office and was so impressed with how much they truly care about the kids and the relationships they have with the families. They know happy host families are important to the success of the program. I am supervising 8 students this year and they are all absolutely wonderful kids. We had 6 of them in our school, and all made the Principal's Honor Roll. They are hard-working, kind, motivated kids. ISE? YES!

I have hosted over 10 kids. I had a horrible 1st experience and student was sent home BUT I had another student with me that was wonderful. I love hosting and became an Area Rep with the company. Great support system from Regional Manager. I recommend hosting an exchange student as it will let you expand yourself as a person.

This used to be a great organization but has since gone down hill. They took on the AVON model of having loyal customers sell product and manage the organization. Nobody there has an adults name. They're in there 40's, 50's & 60's and still go by the same childish nicknames that they had when they were 12.

This program is such a wonderful tool to bring the people of the world closer together, I'm proud to be a part of it.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Lisa and Tarasa. Great company to work with . I would ignore the bad review that is just an angry person that gives everyone bad reviews because it makes them feel important in their miserable little life. Formulate your own opinion!
