Olive Web Studio

DO NOT contract with Olive Web Studios for anything. Look at Google & BBB Reviews. This is a pattern and scam they have done to many clients. Olive appears to be a legitimate business, contracts, begins the project, and then disappears with your money. This is a breach of contract and fraud. Here are the facts. 1. I found Olive Web Studio via Bark.com which is a website to find web designers. 2. Olive put on a great face and promise great results. 3. Olive offers discounts and guarantees to lure unsuspecting clients. 4. The project started fine. Everything seemed normal. 5. Then my project manager stopped responding and disappeared. 6. I have tried repeatedly to call, email, message on the project portal, and the general customer service contact info. Olive will not respond. 7. I contacted Bark.com to share the negative feedback. 8. I engaged my attorney, and we mailed a breach of contract letter. No response. 9. I followed up by emailing the breach of contract letter to multiple Olive contacts. No response. 10. I filed a complaint with the New York Attorney General. 11. I filed a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General. 12. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. 13. I posted negative reviews on business review sites.

My story is the same as most of the negative reviews posted against this company. They closed our website...made it non accessible due to a bandwidth problem. We paid over $800 for a simple website and $1300 for a 3 year contract to host our simple site. I have been contacted 4-5 times for a security and bandwidth upgrade that would cost around $2K to upgrade. This is as more of a strong arm upsell technique I'm not fond of. I wouldn't agree to this erroneous upgrade so now our simple Veterans support website is inoperable since I won't support a plan which I'd classify as digital extortion. So, this is a learning experience for me. Don't ever use this company again and do better research. I have empathy for the others who were wronged by the business practices of this company.

Absolute garbage. They are unresponsive to emails, change account managers without letting people know, and are not transparent. I see a 5 star review from June 2021 and suspect that was written by an employee. I think what most offended me was people who are obviously off-shore pretending to be here in America and using a dummy 888 number. If you think I'm lying, try calling your account manager on whatever number he or she gives you. I ended up having to leave a message and then she called me back from a Utah number though the number she gave me was in NY. I paid them $1200 and ended up having to redo everything on Wix.

From the start of my project with olive web studio I had issues. I have dealt with five different employees. I have been discriminated against and mislead with time frames, as well as other information. This company is unresponsive at times as well, you will have to constantly stay on them for anything that goes wrong and they don't mind trying to put the blame on a customer. One employee in particular FABIEN. He will argue you down before he make any corrections. He will try to make you feel as if everything is your fault and the company takes no responsibility. I have a website that's live right now that needs correction and instead of this company making my issue a priority they told me give them two days for them to acknowledge my issue. If you are a black woman or of the lgbtq community please don't use this company, I feel that's the whole issue. There's no respect during communication and no urgency to fix anything that's their fault. This company is the worst choice you could make.

This company should get shut down. 4K spent and my website is a complete mess with no payment methods. How does it make any sense to create an e-commerce business a webpage with no payment integration? Very unprofessional scammers. The whole team is a bunch of clowns

Everything that you have read in the previous reviews is absolutely correct. This is a scam. I am a small business owner of MobileHairSchnelle.com that has given them thousands of dollars and I am completely out of my money. Let the reviews be your lesson.

Stole $5,000 and probably my idea. Not responding to attempts to reach out. Took advantage of me when i was already in an extreemly difficult spot just overcoming being on deaths door step for over a year and losing just about all I had. This company is now doing business as Vista Web Studio. They will say anything to get you to approve the design. When we asked for the money back was told to "Ask Donald Trump".
