Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Complete scam! Don't trust any reviews above 1 star. Auto renew clause on the back of the contract in 25% gray print?! Really?! Only by threatening a lawsuit did they agree to not charge my credit card again. They even required me to give them a positive review on Yelp as part of my "cancellation" of the auto-renew! Don't give a cent to this corrupt company.
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! PLEASE !!!! RUN RUN RUN!!!!!! Any good reviews that they have, they must have wrote themselves. They are CON ARTISTS! A Year ago a guy named Steve called to offer me clients for my ALF. We set up an appointment for the next day to meet. That's when he told me I have to sign a contract with them for a year and pay in advance for him to refer clients to me throughout the year every time I have an empty bed and to also help market my business. I was kind of cautious, but he called a guy named David Haynes which he said is the owner of the company. That David sweet talked me into giving them a check. David even asked me, "your place is small; what are you going to do with all the clients I am going to refer to you?" They took the money and disappeared. I never heard from them again. I called a few times to question it, then I realized I GOT SCAMMED. This year, I received a phone call from them asking me for money I owe them. I told them they are the one that scammed me, I need them to refund the money. Since then they have been harassing me, calling 4-6 times a day and refusing to stop. I turned the situation over to my lawyer to help me deal with those THIEFS.
Absolute scam! I knew I was scanned after 12 months and not one new referral. After speaking to much of the Jewish community, nobody in Miami even heard of the company nor do they seek businesses using this source. They never sent me an invoice to let me know that they were automatically renewing (apparently there is a 30 day grace period), and when I wanted proof that it was sent out they had none. As a small, trustworthy, business owner I advise you DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! The worst marketing mistake I have made so far...lesson learned! It's a shame that they are in business solely by scamming people!
If i could give less then 1 star i would. They came in sold me a bag of goods. I went with them and paid for a year i saw not one referral. I told them verbally i did not want to renew verbally because in the fine print they need a written letter my fault for that. I actually spoke to them the day after the auto renewal and they would not honor it. I will not pay them a dime. I would rather go to court and spend more money so they can get a dollar. Absolutely the worst experience i have ever had with a company. All businesses please beware you children could stand at a street corner and market better then they can...
This is a complete and total scam and they need to be investigated for fraud. I was contacted and met with a representative at my office who sold me on Jewish community leads and I bought into the concept. The problem was in the year of contract after spending thousands of dollars for leads I never received any...not one...not even a bogus one. I called and complained and nothing changed so while their sales to get paying customers seems good, results are zero and based on the reviews they are taking advantage of many many people everywhere. I had to laugh today more than 2 years after I wasted my money on this crap that someone from their company called me to tell me I had an "outstanding balance" from my renewal! I didn't nor would I ever "renew" and I told them if they persisted that I would address any claims via my legal counsel. Stay far away from these people.
Once again Jwiz has help me with my construction needs. I have been using their services for a few years now. Their contractors are reliable and very professional. I highly recommend.
SCAM! CON ARTISTS! A woman slimed her way into my office last year to sell me advertising. She wouldn't leave til I signed a contract. She offered me an outrageous over priced plan then negotiated me down. I signed what I thought was a one year contract, but they just called me to tell me it was a multiple year one. And they want more money out of me for nothing. I didn't get any referrals from them. Hang up the phone if they call.
I will try to be as honest as I can with my 1-star review. I have a specialty dental practice that happens to have a number of Jewish patients and was actually not at all surprised when I was contacted by this company seeking my business to advertise with them. In hindsight, I should have been tipped off when the rep called and said she had patients to refer to me and said she was in charge of the health care department of her organization. A few minutes into the conversation, it was clear she had no patients to refer, but instead was selling a referral service directed towards Jewish people. It was a very misleading way to try and sell something, but I foolishly dismissed it as just a marketing pitch. She was also acting as if the deal was quickly disappearing and that they needed to get my answer NOW so they can get our business info to the presses right away. The rep came to my office and we discussed the service. Again, since I have a number of Jewish patients, I figured it might not be a bad way to try and get some more so I accepted the deal and stated that I only wanted to try the service for one year and no further. I explicitly stated I did not want any automatic renewals. Of course the rep proclaimed there is not an automatic renewal and they would contact me to see if I was interested in renewing towards the end of the year. That was another mistake on my part - trusting anyone with verbal agreements. On the back of the contract agreement in light grey print on light grey paper are the terms of the agreement. One of which states there is an automatic renewal unless they are given e-mail notice at least 30 days prior to the end of the first term. Honestly, part of me wonders if they would have claimed to have never gotten the cancellation notice and just proceeded with an unauthorized automatic renewal... One year after signing up, I have not received a single additional Jewish patient. However, I will not fault the company for this being that advertising cannot be guaranteed to generate clients. I will state they did perform as promised with sending us a copy of their printed directory with our ad in it, and I did see our listing on their website. Whether or not they really do circulate these printed directories, I have no idea. Honestly, I think it is more of a front to just collect money from small businesses for minimal work (or none at all). Throughout the year, I did not receive any contact from the company until it was after the end of year contract. A rep called and was very pushy and aggressive about getting our agreement back to renew for another year. I was shocked to hear from her, believing that I was done with doing any further business with JMS. It was not till after she faxed over a copy of the agreement (now in black ink) stating the terms that I had unwittingly signed. To further aggravate me, she had to insinuate she was "on my side" and "working with me" to prevent having to lawyer-up and face a lawsuit. I had not even stated I was going to fight the agreement, but from her aggressiveness, tone of voice, fast talking, and threat of legal action immediately, I can see how this company does business. I gave JMS a 1-star review not for the fact that I did not get anything back on my investment, but for the pushy and sneaky underhanded tactics they used to force a renewal. The front of the agreement is in bold black in and is easy to read. The back of the agreement has the terms and is deliberately printed in light grey. Yes, the onus is on the signer to be aware of what you sign and always read the fine print, but I feel this company operates on deceit and threats to do business and it is companies and people like this that ruin it for everyone. I had hoped this would have been a good business relationship, but now I am soured and will not ever do business with JMS or probably any other Jewish marketing service ever again. Take your time, do your research, and if anyone tells you you have to act now or lose the deal, just walk away. Learn from my mistake!
