Bad, bad company... basically dead. No answers from support. Half of the site features don't work, including the payment processing. They literally can't even take your money, so you can't renew your domains. You CAN still transfer your domains out of there, even if they are expired (but within the grace period of a few days). Read below for transfer instructions. How to transfer your domain from DomainPal: - 1 - Login to your DomainPal account - 2 - Find your domain name in the control panel - 3 - Unlock the domain (disable theft protection) - 4 - Disable privacy protection (you can enable it again after the transfer starts) - 5 - Copy the "domain secret" - also known as the EPP Code - (should be ~10 random characters unless you changed it) - 6 - Create or login to an account with another registrar (NameSilo, etc.) - 7 - Find the domain transfer feature at your new registrar and follow its instructions (enter domain name + secret code, check email for verification link, etc.) - 8 - After verifying the transfer by email, you can enable privacy protection again in your DomainPal account - 9 - Now you have to wait ~5 days for the transfer to complete (doing a whois lookup of the domain should show "Status: pendingTransfer") - 10 - Any website attached to the domain should still work as normal during the transfer, but you may need to configure the nameservers again at your new registrar after the transfer completes. Also make sure it's locked again and privacy protection is enabled. (Some registrars will automatically do all of this for you when the transfer completes)

Not even sure if this business is still around. Tried contacted support numerous times by e-mail and phone as their payment processor was not working to renew my domain. They never contacted me and my domain expired...

Zero should be an option with this company. 1 it's far too generous. Don't walk, RUN from it.

I have been dealing with this company for years and all of a sudden they seemed to have closed up shop and I was not able to renew several domains that I had owned for years.
