Beit Zaytoon

A Lebanese restaurant that is BYOB. Food is decent and service on the slower side. Atmosphere is cantina style. There is a little something for all dietary restrictions and offer three courses. Deserts are not too sweet and flavors mild. Qahwah is good. Overall a good family restaurant serving halal meats and have BYOB.

Very dry server with us however very nice and friendly with others. Most people brought their own wine, but that's not mentioned on the website.the 3 Stars are for the Kibha appetizer and Babahganush. They call beef strips Shawarma (meat taste was only vinegar) comes with rice that is very overcooked and tasteless. The server (one only for all the tables) was kind enough not to charge for the Shawarma, I ordered the Kibha dinner plate, and also disappointed since it was very greasy and had a very thin layer of meat and thick crust of bulgur wheat. I hope they improve.

We always have a wonderful time at Beit Zaytoon. The food is delicious and just as good as homemade! The kibbeh nayeh(the lamb or beef tartar) is exquisite! Every time we go Chef Elie (the owner) does not disappoint us! All the food is freshly prepared and served.

We never went to the restaurant but we catered a rehearsal dinner for 60 people and we had enough for 100. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. I am Lebanese and make all middle eastern specialties... from stuffed grape leaves to the fried kibbeh, the spinach pies and the meat pies were all out of this world. Many of the guests were being introduced to this cuisine and EVERYONE raved about the food! I'm craving it as I am writing this review. Absolutely delicious! Due to weather conditions, the owner delivered the food himself and right on time. He also took his time to open every tray and check the condition it had arrived in.extremely friendly service! I highly recommend this restaurant for freshness, authenticity, and service! Thank you Eli!

This place is amazing! Best Lebanese food and the only place you can get raw kibbe on Long Island. We ordered about half of the menu and every single dish was just delicious. The owner's a really nice guy too!

Zero customer service. I called to place a pickup order and the person who answered the phone wasn't attentive at all and kept talking to other people, so finally he took my order. To my surprise when I arrived there 20-25 minutes after ,the order isn't there. When I asked the older guy who works there, he said yes you placed your order along time ago and I forgot!!!! I told him it wasn't that long ago, then I replied ; but that is not good for business (with a big smile on my face) as when I place an order I expected to be ready, he replied it is just a small order not a whole lamb.. so I told him, I don't need anything, you can keep it and I left. Just a very rude and unprofessional person and has zero customer service experience.. I would not recommend the place to anyone.

Excellent, authentic Lebanese food. Staff/owner were super friendly and it's BYOB! All of the starters were great and by far, the best lamb chops I've had in my life.
