Sixteen03 Main Events

An amazing venue here in Bismarck, ND for large events. I was impressed to learn about the history of the building being the old Sweetheart Bakery on main street. The staff was well organized to make the event my wife and I attended last night spectacular. Very well done.

I attended a work event here that was two days in length. Ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, along with an open bar. For a work event, the space is extremely noisy; it would be great if they could add some sound dampening to the room as it was often hard to hear the presenter. The Wi-Fi went out, and they had to get a new router, but they didn't give us the passwords for the new router, which was a little bit stressful while trying to host a large technology meeting. The atmosphere in the space is charming, with beautiful spots to take photos, but it seems the rundown chic goes a little bit further. There are spaces with just electrical tape around a random window, missing air vents, and upholstered benches with foam coming out of them. They need to take a few days to finish some projects because many things are half-done in the rooms. If you're looking at a glance, it's pretty, but if you get a little bit closer, many things that seem like they're there to further the vibe of the location are relatively rundown. At breakfast, we had croissant sandwiches with fruit. Fresh fruit was great, but the croissants were soggy. Someone slathered them with butter or defrosted them too fast or something. At lunch, both days, we had sandwich platters. The bread was either well-toasted or soaked in butter and not toasted. We had a pasta bar; unfortunately, the penne pasta was undercooked and still extremely firm. The open bar was great. The bartenders were super polite. Efficient made excellent drinks, the table decor and set up with smooth everything went smoothly. Just the quality of the food wasn't excellent.

We had our work Holiday Party here. Staff was awesome and amazing service beautiful venue. Would recommend for any party!

We had our wedding and reception there and everything went smoothly! They actually had pretty much all of the decorating done the day before our wedding. Decorations were beautiful! Food was great, lots of good comments from our guests. They really help you along with the planning process with a few meetings leading up to your event so that everything is done well in advance. Really nice to be able to have ceremony, reception, dinner, and dance all in one location. Will recommend them to anyone planning to have their wedding in Bismarck!

First time going here for an event and it's actually really nice place.I love the atmosphere.

My wife and I rented this venue for our wedding ceremony as well as our reception and dance. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive. Britt was very easy to work with and kept communication open with us during the entire planning process. The only issues we encountered with Sixteen03 were incredibly minor; Issues that were negligible compared to everything that went flawlessly. Went there for a wedding this past Friday and had a fabulous time. The room was set up beautifully and exquisite for the event.
