I had questions regarding the 10G upgrade. The staff at the Boardman office was great! They were patient with me and answered all my questions. On the day of install, the technician was very professional. Everything went smoothly and he made sure I was up and running before leaving. Also, wires were tucked away and everything was cleaned before he left. Great experience all around!!
It's been a long time coming. After having our yards dug up equipment all over the place, traffic blocked in the neighborhood & surrounding streets but today it all came together. I had a really competent fabulous friendly helpful technician, Bill. He did a very nice job but also spent time explaining the process because I also had my cable boxes upgraded. Very nice guy and I was very pleased with the process.
I contacted Armstrong Cable today and followed the prompts to downgrade my service, but the wait time was 47 minutes. Out of curiosity, I tried calling again and followed the prompts to upgrade my service. They answered immediately, which I found interesting. However, the upgrade representative cannot assist with downgrading my service.
The technician kept us up to date on the time of his visit. He explained every thing he needed to do and suggested ways to improve our use of Armstrong's cable and internet. He was courteous, friendly and polite

I was helped by Danny at the desk to get my setup kit for home wifi. He was very kind and helpful and answered all my questions without any issue. Store experience was very good. Armstrong please send some sort of email confirmation when customers sign up for service via the website. It was very difficult to tell if my signup actually did anything or went through. The integration with Plume is also not explained at all prior to getting the kit. I just got an email reset for the past tenants Plume account after ordering internet service and there was no notice that that'd happen. I had no idea what Plume was and with no prior explaination it looked suspicious. I googled it and quickly found out what it was and connected the dots but this is far from a seamless experience. There needs to be clear confirmations with more detailed descriptions of the next steps and what to expect. The internet speeds are fast and in excess of what I'm paying for which is wonderful to have. Can't speak to the stability of the connection yet but so far so good. Despite the confusion with integrating Plume the app is quite good and the in-app setup was great and easy to use. Much better than using the google home app for the google wifi routers (man that interface sucks). Really glad they don't charge you to rent the equipment but really they shouldn't anyways considering how few routers and modems are compatible with their service. Price is competitive and so far no complaints about whats offered. If they just clean up some of the online ordering of service and make things clearer for new customers this would greatly improve the experience.
