Great Lakes Grinders - Sandusky, OH

This is our 3rd year going to Great Lakes Grinders. I love the Italian with extra sauce & hubby likes the Mackinac Meatball. These sandwiches are the best in Sandusky!! The owner is nice a d the employees greet you with a smile. I stalk FB in the Spring to see when they will open for the season. For Mother's day I wanted GLG. The view of the lake is amazing. The park is so nice and we walk the path while we wait. You honestly can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches.

First time trying Great Lakes Grinders and I will absolutely be back! I got the roast beef and it was delish- all ingredients fresh and the bread... chefs kiss! The staff are very friendly and they all seem to work well together and have fun doing so! Thanks to the cook that took a minute to come out and chat and get my feedback - that's how you run a great business! Great job to all!

Picked up some lunch on a windy day ... wife had turkey avocado I had the Sicilian. Sandwiches were excellent with a wonderful hoagy roll. Service was great, staff was respectful and nice. Clean facility with outdoor seating at local park.

Excellent sandwiches!! The owners were very pleasant and work hard, right in there with everyone else, great job! We just moved to the area and look forward to many more grinders! Thank you!

Dude! This place and the staff are the jam! I usually try to find some sort of critique when I leave a review, but I honestly can't find anything they could simply do better. Other than not be an hour away from my home We stop here all the time when all the Grom guys have a ride and they never disappoint. Super fresh high quality ingredients, awesome staff, very fast service, hell I usually get my Spicy Turkey and it's done before I have time to get my receipt in my wallet. If you're ever in the area, stop by for a grinder, you won't be disappointed! Side note on the Spicy Turkey..... It's not that Spicy. I was a little afraid to try it as I don't like spicy/hot stuff. Had a bad experience with peppers as a kid This is super mild, just think of it as a regular turkey that's just been kicked up a notch to give it some flavor. Well done Chef

We got lunch from Grinders today. My wife got the turkey club and I got the Italian. It was absolutely unbelievable! The bread was fresh, the meat and all the veggies on top were perfect. I especially like the bread. We're never disappointed. I can't wait to go back. Hands down the freshest and best grinders ANYWHERE!!!! Thanks again

Trip to Cedar Point with granddaughter and had this place on my "must-try" list. Cool setting being in park and the beautiful view. I had the turkey avocado based on all the reviews and did not disappoint. Fresh bread and great portion of turkey and avocado. Staff was very friendly and would highly recommend!
