The Retreat at Sandusky

5 business owners and their families got together here for a Business training and get together. The kids had a blast with all of the games and sports equipment left for us, s'mores over the fire, the kitchen was big enough for us to host group meals. I love what they've done with the place, and I look forward to seeing continued upgrades to make this a wonderful very inviting spot, the buildings are older, but they served the function! Come with realistic expectations and you will be pleased! It is super close to Cedar point in castaway Bay. If you plan to go to either of those places, and we were pretty close to downtown Sandusky to take the jet express to the islands. The host was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay! Would stay again!

My family and I booked this for our family weekend getaway. The boathouse was the perfect place to hang out, play games, and eat. I loved that the rooms had a refrigerator and microwave. The fire pit area was fully stocked with wood. Be mindful that you're beside a railroad track and the trains a little loud. I wasn't bothered but it's worth mentioning. There are numerous grocery stores to buy groceries and snacks and lots of places to go for other activities. The motel next door sells day passes to their pool for $5.00 The staff was outstanding. We had 27 people in our group.

Had a great time at The Retreat at Sandusky for our Summer Youth Trip. Great location close to where we spent out time during the day at Cedar Point and Lakeside. Loved the facilities with volleyball and basketball, our own kitchen to make meals for our group of 35, a fire pit each night, and much more. Already looking forward to using it again next summer!

Enjoyed our family reunion, and could not have been happier with the accommodations!!!! The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained! The boathouse contained a full kitchen, dining area, gaming area and social area with streaming tv and speakers. Attached Pavilion and boathouse hosted almost 50 people and the park like grounds allowed for family football and games all day and huge fire pit was perfect every night! It was a please working with ownership and so thankful we found this gem to host our family reunion!

This place is perfect for large gatherings or a trip into town for any of the Sports Force tournaments. My whole team stayed here for a softball tournament and everyone loved the property. Kids loved the basketball hoop, volleyball area, boathouse, ping pong table, and there was plenty of room to play wiffle ball. The host was excellent at communicating during the entire process and was extremely accommodating. The kitchen and meal prep area has literally anything you would ever need to make or prepare meals. Two grills, one being a blackstone, was perfect as well. Couldn't recommend this place more!

We took our team of 47 to The Retreat for team bonding. The kids loved all the activities and were never bored! There was plenty of room for everyone to eat and hang out without feeling crowded. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook with and more! The rooms were great, with everything the kids needed. When we had questions, Becky was very timely in responding. We will definitely consider returning!

The Retreat at Sandusky exceeded all of our expectations! From the impeccable amenities and distance to Cedar Point, our stay was nothing short of amazing. A special shout-out to Ms. Becky, whose warm hospitality made our experience truly exceptional. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our comfort did not go unnoticed. We can't wait to return to The Retreat at Sandusky for another unforgettable with our students! 10/10 recommend this retreat center!

We had a great stay from June 3rd to June 5th our whole soccer team stayed here, it was great for team bonding. The resort is very close to the sports park we played at as well as cedar point. The boat house was very clean and big enough for many people to be inside, along with the huge outside area and fire place out back. The boys all enjoyed all the lawn games. The resort is very Accommodating for large groups the place was reserved just for our team. 2 washer and 2 dryer on site this was a big help. We had a great time, Hoping to come back next year.
