Velocity IT

I cannot say enough positive things about this company and it's support staff! A little background, I travel quite frequently so stay in lots of hotels, Extended Stay most frequently over past 2 years. Well I work out of the rooms so the FREE Hotel internet is a must have. Well I guess for security reasons, Apple has increased the frequency of changing it's product IP Addresses from every 6 months to what seems like every couple weeks now. This is a real pain in the #$% because you'll get an internet error saying you've reached the maximum amount of devices for your FREE service, you'll need to now pay to have "upgraded" internet service. This didn't make sense so asked the front desk what's the deal, they always have NO CLUE, they'll say that you've probably added new devices and recommend paying for the upgraded internet with unlimited devices. I wasn't buying it so found the 866 support# and called. Well thank god the support service is provided by Velocity. They said let's see what they can find out, I explained I added no new devices, have had the same devices connected with a combination of Android & Apple devices. The Tech did some research and after 10 minutes says I got it, he explained how frequently Apple will switch the IP addresses on their devices to help with security. Well the Hotel system still sees the old addresses and then thinks you've added all these new devices, which takes you over the limit for the FREE internet, which then prompts them to recommend paying for the better internet. The Tech found the room I was in, erased all the old addresses, had me sign in again and everything then was working fine! I've now had Velocity help with this problem 6 times over the past 8 months and they're ALWAYS available!! I mean evenings, weekends, Sundays etc, someone always picks up quickly, they speak fluent English, they're articulate and understandable, everyone is always knowledgeable regarding my issue and again, always there!! They've been a life saver for me from a business standpoint because I cannot video conference with the office or customers if I don't have internet access. Listen, If you're a business researching an IT company to contract with to support your staff and/or customers, I cannot recommend them more highly, you will not be disappointed!

I have known Mike Meadows with Velocity IT for over 15 years. When I started my title insurance agency in Columbus, Ohio Mike was referred to me by a fellow competitor. He was instrumental in recommending the computer hardware to be purchased and did all of my IT work in getting it properly running. Over the next ten years Mike was involved in helping maintain my equipment and recommending ways to grow my business with IT upgrades and solving my computer problems along the way. Mike has always been prompt with returning phone calls and emails. He was always on time in coming to my office and stayed until the problem was solved. I highly recommend Mike and his staff for all of your computer and software needs. He has never disappointed me. I am now living in Naples, Florida and I recently had the occasion to call upon Mike to recommend a new lap top. He knows I like Dell. He saved me over $400 with a particular model. Even though I am 1200 miles away from Mike he was able to remote into my computer and get everything set up and transferred over from my old computer. No one better than Mike Meadows of Velocity IT!!!!!!

Great Service and prompt service! Mike has helped me in my CPA practice for many years and we have been extremely pleased with the work. I sold my practice and semi-retired in late 2019, he actually worked with one of my staff over the years because he understood my lack of computer knowledge. However, when I recently took back a client, he helped me when I needed help (since i no longer have any staff) for connecting remotely to my client's computers and its been extremely timesaving to have remote access to their computer. We have always been very pleased with the service from Velocity!!

TOP NOTCH IT services. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Velocity has been my vendor throughout mutliple companies that I've worked with now and I can confidently say that my business(es) would have been in REAL hot water without them! They've saved my behind on several occassions but, honestly, no matter the need they treat every need with high priority and urgency. The response times are impressive. If they don't answer I usually get a text back right away that they'll call me back. Communication is an A+!!! Their associates are always such a pleasure to have in our facility and my staff have honestly started considering some of them family. They are so friendly, professional and SO timely! I have already recommended them to several of my associates and networking team and will continue to recommend them... as long as it doesn't take them away from me! haha ;) Joking aside, I am 100% loyal to this IT company because throughout my career I have not seen any IT services that have even come close to the service provided here.

Mike and his team have helped our small business grow with the assistance of IT. In many ways, we would be lost without their help. Great response times and very versatile in all IT knowledge. They are a great option to have on hand as a small business.
