Crossing 2nd

This is one of the best establishments I have seen in barltesville. Food is fantastic, the service is great and awesome bartender. Not to mention Don and Sharon, they have out done themselves!! I recommend it for all of your fun gatherings and parties or just for a night out.

I really like the concept here. The portion sizes even for being small plates are incredibly tiny. I don't eat a lot in one sitting, but still felt unsatisfied after eating two small plates. My husband got the meatloaf sandwich, which was more substantial than anything I got. I don't know that I'd return just because nothing about the food really stood out except the tiny portion size. It was alright. It took awhile to get our food, but I did enjoy the quirky atmosphere. We ended up eating a second dinner a few hours later.

There was mouse poop on the table. My server was super sweet but the manger was Verry hatful, and yelled at my server because I had said something about the poop. There was hair in my food. The overall environment was not good. A mouse scurried across the floor while I was there. Mind you I was there for maybe 10 minutes at most because I was disgusted. When I went to the bathroom there was roaches.

We enjoy every time we visit Crossing 2nd whether for the cultural diversity and quality of the food offerings to the nights of entertainment, civic meetings, to catered private events. Crossing 2nd creates a place to BE; food, fun, games, entertainment. The great customer service adds to the amazing atmosphere to enjoy life.

i came here with my boyfriend just visiting from out of town and having him try charcuterie for the first time and we were in love with the food here. The cosmopolitans were the best i've ever had and the staff were all so kind and welcoming!! i highly recommend stopping here and enjoying a bite to eat or a cocktail

Took my daughter here because we had been wanting to try this place since it opened. Came on a Wednesday (curry day) since we are big curry fans. Service was friendly and fast. We received our food in short order and it was great in both flavor and presentation. The atmosphere was nice, though my daughter and I agreed that we want to return for some of the hosted events or for the evening atmosphere. Definitely feels like a great place to order something to drink with friends, maybe a sandwich as well, set up a board game, and have fun. My wife and I even think it'd be nice to bring a book to read while eating. That's how relaxed and inviting the atmosphere is at Crossing 2nd. Give it a try, you won't leave disappointed.

The service was horrendous. The Owner Shanon was very rude and hateful, not only to me but also her staff because I pointed out the fact that the was mouse dropping all over the bathroom and on the dinning area. Overall I am very disappointed with the service and environment. Need less to say I do not recommend eating here. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!

I like until time to leave as a rule I don't hand out my drivers license and they ask that you do that to get the pool balls,soo...when it was time to leave I left, without license ...then I went back ,made it back to the car only to find out the person on the license wasn't me besides that it was a good visit
