I have been with sparklight for 7 years or more. In that time, I don't think I've ever made it a full week without service disruption. We lose connection daily. I've called a million times. "Restart modem". Most of the time resolved it. I don't feel I should have to restart it every day. Good luck getting through on a week day. I've called 3 times during operating hours to have the service canceled. I already dont get internet and I'm done paying for it. If you call on a Saturday, there are no team members who can help cancel the service. It's incredibly frustrating. We are switching to blue peak.

When I first moved to Bartlesville I chose Sparklight for my internet service. A few months later the new fiber optic lines were installed in the neighborhood and that company approached me to switch. The service was faster and cost less than Sparklight. After making sure the new service was working properly I took my Sparklight equipment to their office and canceled my service. I was told that my bill was paid in full. In December I received a message from my credit reporting company that I had a collection record for $26. I researched the company and company and contacted them, paying the $26 Sparklight claimed was not paid. The problem. 1. Sparklight never contacted me to let me know I had an outstanding balance. No EMail. No phone call. No letter. 2. I learned from the credit bureau that the collection agency picked up the outstanding balance 30 days after I canceled my service. 3. The collection company NEVER contacted me. I have a 100% ON-TIME payment history on my credit report and the bill was only $26 so there was NO REASON for me to ignore it. Thankfully I know how the credit reporting system works and quickly got the matter resolved and my credit score was restored. It felt like Sparklight was upset because another company was getting my business so they are retaliated by attempting to ruin my credit score for leaving them. Added benefit of dropping Sparklight. For the past few months I have been removing all of the old cable wires hanging all over the house. It seems that Sparklight NEVER removes old wiring and just adds NEW wiring. The new company buried their wires and installed hard wired box in a discrete corner. Definitely nice to get rid of the black spaghetti look the place has had for years.

Will openly lie to you. I get paid on Thursdays at noon. I called in on Tuesday and told them I can make a small payment today and the rest would be on Thursday at noon and they told me I had till Friday... Woke up Wednesday morning to all my service being off and when I called in another agent told me that even though I was lied to they could do nothing...

Horrible service! My internet would go out at least once or twice a week for no reason. Anytime there was an update I would have to call customer support, because there was always issues with the router afterwards. Finally had a better provider come into my neighborhood, so I switched. I returned the equipment to the office in July, and never heard or seen anything since. Here it is November, and I received a collection notice from Sparklight for an outstanding balance. I had never received a single email or final bill before this collection notice. Absolutely the final straw in my book. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone.

Moved to a new house. Had the appointment to set up go without incident. Install technician was great. Internet speeds were great. I had the 1 gig speed plan, wall to wall wifi, and 2 eero units worked great. It was great. Follow me here. I had the installation and setup done May 1st, 2024. Everything was going smoothly. Then May 5th comes and the internet goes out. We did have a couple of tornadoes come through, so I took that well into account, and I'm very understanding that technicians would be swamped with higher priority calls than mine. I set up 3 different service appointments, and the technician didn't show up to fix anything on three separate occasions. I was told that I would receive confirmation texts, and they came through between 4-8 hours later. Their automated systems tells you that the technician will call you 30 minutes prior when he's en route to your appointment, so you have to take the call or else your appointment might be canceled. No such call. I was home awake and waiting for all the appointments. On 2 occasions, it seems like the assigned service technician would wait well until after my appointment time to sneak up to my door and post a "Sorry We missed you" note. I canceled my service and returned their equipment today on 5/10/2024 The lady at the desk didn't seem bothered at all that I was terminating my service, she didn't so much as to inquire as to why I was terminating service so soon. Just read the serial numbers off the equipment and then printed off a return of equipment receipt. It didn't even seem like they cared at all. Excellent internet (when it it worked for the 4-5 days). Absolutely abysmal customer service. I can't give them zero stars on account that the installation technician did his job. But there goes $135 dollars I'll never see again. Biggest waste of money. Avoid at all costs. And the worst part is their office is 11 minutes from my house.
