I've been Smirk's customer at one point, and their partner at one point, and their competitor at one point. In each instance, they have earned my respect. These folks work really hard, they're really smart, they're relentlessly ethical, and they're both kind and direct. Sometimes directness seems harsh, but it's from a place of tough love, hard truths and important direction. These folks want their clients to succeed, overcome their problems, and do great things. Smirk might sound like a cheeky brand, but they treat their business, your dollars, and their responsibilities with utmost seriousness and care. I hated competing against them - because they know how to win - but I'm grateful to be in a market with them. They make all of us better, and they'll make you better, too.

Mike and his team have always been willing to discuss which options are available, even when I'm not initially able to wrap my mind around them. I've never felt like I was not listened to. I also know of Smirk's generosity in the community as I've sat in on some conferences and presentations Mike Koehler has been part of. They believe that a rising tide lifts all boats.
