Rent is ridiculous and they find a way to add fees over time so that your rent keeps growing. I live in a two person duplex and am supposed to pay 725 before utilities. This past month I payed $936 dollars in rent! DO NOT live here if you are looking for an affordable option. It seems nice but you are receiving a similar level of quality that you can find elsewhere in Stillwater for MUCH less. Maintenance responds fairly quickly and there is lots of storage, but that's about it.

Hands down the best college housing in town! I've had an amazing experience living at Cottage Row. The maintenance team is always super quick, reliable, and friendly--they really go above and beyond. Every staff member I've met has been kind, helpful, and genuinely cares about the residents. The community is clean, safe, and has a great vibe. It's by far the best place for college students to live around here. If you're looking for a place where you'll be taken care of and treated with respect, Cottage Row is the one!

i've lived here for the past 2 years and have loved every bit of it! maintenance issues have always been handled very promptly and the maintenance team is super friendly! the front desk and managers have been a huge help these past couple of years, very kind people! i really appreciated the fact they kept residents in the loop regarding renewals in order for us to have the opportunity to get the lowest rates possible. utilities can be a little pricey (depending on usage of course), but i do understand the property has no say in that and it is from the city. the only reason im leaving is due to starting a new round of schooling, definitely going to miss it! my advice for anybody looking at signing a lease here is to (1) go through your application thoroughly. there are several questions were you're asked about roommate preferences, so make sure you read carefully so you don't mark the wrong option (co-ed, pet friendly, etc...). (2) make sure you know you're not reserving the entire unit by signing your lease since it is an individual lease. (3) if you don't have enough potential roommates to fill your desired floor plan, you will have somebody placed in that unit once it gets closer to the start of the lease. the property is very good about calling you and letting you know when the deadline is, in order to try and get everybody placed together! (4) know that you are able to opt out of certain things (like rent plus), it's not an obligation to have that set up. they are very up front about the fees that will be included. (5) make sure to ask questions about anything that could be an issue or any concerns you have. they are all very willing to help.

Me and my friends were trying to get a 3 bed cottage together. They locked me and one of my other friends into a cottage with someone renewing their lease and told us we can't have our 3rd man move in with us. I've called multiple times asking for a manager who seems to always be on vacation or sick. Hopefully this provides some insight for someone looking to move in here.

Where do I start. Place wouldn't let us move in early due to maintenance and cleaning. When we moved in the WHOLE house was filthy and there was water damage on the ceiling. Wifi sucks and when it doesn't work it's is 80% of the time the office won't do anything about it and they tell you to contact the people. Do not live here if you want a quiet place. There are people that have super loud cars that fly down the street and rev their engines super late at night (contacted office about problem and they don't do anything). Basically this whole place is a scam. They tell you the utilities are individual but it doesn't seem like there are 4 meters outside for them to read each month. Also, there's little charges in rent such as the service Rent plus which is literally a scam. For perspective my rent is supposed to be 575 without utilities and with it and other small fees im paying almost 800 each month to live here. Do not live in this ghetto complex.

Do not move here. They scam you on your lease and make you pay non-existent fees that add up over time. The houses are literally falling apart. I had a crazy roommate and we had to get the cops involved because cottage row wouldn't do anything after SEVERAL complaints. It's a very loud environment and no matter how many complaints, they won't do anything. They also claim that my lease is signed for next year when me and my guarantee never agreed. Awful place please don't move here unless you want to be scammed.

I would recommend Cottage Row to any student looking for a spacious and quiet spot to live in. I love that all units come upstairs and downstairs - giving you the feeling of living in an actual house! Maintenance is very trustworthy and timely. The front desk/managers in the office are always willing to help and are very kind. 10/10 would recommend and all questions are answered throughly. I also love the events/amenities that CR has! My best advice would be to ask a lot of questions so you don't get surprised by anything in the future! I've lived here for 3 years now and I wouldn't change a thing! (Also I would disregard any reviews from when Cottage Row was "Aspen Heights") lol completely different management.

This place is a DISASTER. Do not rent from them. Their office staff does not appropriately handle issues (or ignores them), they consistently hound current tenants to sign a new lease "before rates increase" and essentially take advantage of young kids that don't know any better. 0/10 do not recommend.
