awful experience! I canceled my internet, but told them I specifically needed internet for the day on January 31, 2025, as I work from home. they reassured me that they would have no issues doing this for me. well guess what? they cancelled my internet on January 30th, at 11PM, making me lose a day of work. customer service was awful - they were short with me, seemed to blame me for not knowing I would've needed to cancel it February 1st? for having to pay almost 100$ a month I would expect better service and more competent customer service. would advise to stay clear of them, especially now that they've been bought out by eastlink anyway.

Ever since Eastlink bought Sunwire I've had nothing but problems. Constant disconnect and packet loss and slower speeds than what I had. Considering changing to Vianet. Eastlink has never been good for me with my experience. It's a shame Sunwire had to go.

I was a little uneasy at first as I am a creature of habit and do not make changes unless I am given a nudge. I am very happy to say that first off to set up the Sunwire hardware was a breeze even for a person with very little tech experience. There were no issues setting up the internet and wifi system. My first check was to see if I had access throughout the house, that was an easy yes. My next question was I going to have access in my detached garage and in my gazebo in the back yard, that was an easy yes as well. I have had Sunwire for a month now and have absolutely no issues. Speed and access is a definite two thumbs up with no interruptions. For a little more than half the price of my previous providers I give Sunwire 5 stars and would definitely recommend this provider. Oh yes I must also include that all the personnel at Sunwire were so helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I am very happy with my new Sunwire service. It works perfectly and the staff at Sunwire are very helpful and friendly. I should have changed years ago. I have already got two other people I know to switch to Sunwire and I will recommend them to anyone. I can't say the same thing about my previous provider.

Best price for wifi in town! Their coverage is way better than that of their competitors. The routers are not very strong so they can suffer with range but overall great service!

I've had a consistently poor experience with this internet service. The connection was slow, unreliable, and frequently cut out at the worst times. For the price they charge, the service quality is severely lacking. On top of that, when I tried to return the modem, their policy suddenly changed. Now I'm being charged in full due to misinformation from customer service, despite not living in the house for the period they're billing me for. The customer service team has been unhelpful and confusing to deal with. I wouldn't recommend this provider at all

Honestly, one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. They don't schedule a technician for hook up, and then it takes them a week to get someone out to hook it up after the schedule service date. The staff are rude on the phone and don't even apologize for their terrible service. Yes, it is cheap, but probably not worth the headache. Steer clear

So far I love the experience. The services are reliable. I like the fact you can schedule your payment a few days out from the due date so you don't be late, especially handy when your payday is a couple of days later. I didn't need a technician visit as the setup was easy and the instructions being pretty straightforward. I am also happy to know they also service Capreol also so I won't have an issue moving the services when I am lucky enough to be able to move out there.
