I worked with Chris Hall from Beard & Hound Creative on a website for a Kickstarter campaign. He is brilliant at his craft--he created custom graphics that were Apple-quality, took photos that looked like they came straight from a magazine, and provided valuable social media guidance as we prepared to launch the campaign. I have been very impressed with his work. He delivered a super-slick and beautifully designed website, and has been open to every idea we've had. Anything we thought of, Chris was not only able to execute, but he turned the projects around in a snap. He is incredibly talented, has a great eye for design, and is passionate about his work. I'll definitely be coming to Beard & Hound Creative for future projects!

Where to begin. These guys are creative geniuses in so many ways. They did a really great job on several fronts. However, the website they designed looked like blocks from the '90s and was not at all what we had asked for with clean, white space. I understand, to be fair, that we were not the best client because we were slower than expected getting them the content they needed. But in the end, the product still could have been better. But what really did me in was the lack of 301 redirects. Every designer should know to do this when migrating a website, and it was not done, meaning we got dinged on Google once we finally moved the site over. The experience with this team was also frustrating. They were rigid and overall not a pleasure to work with. We ended up going with a different designer and having the entire thing redone, 301 re-directs included. Two stars because I like the logo and the frustrations were I am sure a 2-way street and they did at least deliver something, albeit for a large price tag.
