We have hosted events for 25 years and chose DJ Cutt of Portland Event Films for our daughter's wedding. Having been around the industry and seeing all of the different vendors, we were pretty tough customers since this was the first time hosting for one of our own. The entire wedding celebration was a 10 out of 10. We cannot say enough good things about Alex and the quality and execution of a flawless event. All weddings have something or a few things you wish you could have done differently or had thought about after the fact. We could not have imagined this wedding going any better, and the feedback from our guests has been overwhelming. Alex captured every moment, and if everything is as good as the preliminary videos, we cannot wait to see the finished product. Weddings are stressful in many ways, but not this one. Alex and his team were amazing ! Professional and fun for our entire event ! They created such a fun vibe that even our older guests were dancing and having an amazing time . We did the special effects package and our guests are still raving two weeks later .

We worked with Portland Event Film on our recent art festival. Alex was very professional, and all of his assistants were polite and on time. He did a number of interviews for our project too. Absolutely top quality!

We had this company for our wedding last September. I am still mourning the experience due a unruly DJ who forgot and or missed half of our schedule. I stlll shutter listening to the song I was suppose to walk down the isle to because of just poor timing. He was also very rude to my wedding party. You see, Alex is the guy we spoke to went over everything with and worked out all the details but on the day of was not there. Now as a bride on a wedding day I had 100 other things going on and I thought this would be fine, but foolishly I did not go and tell the dj my wants and desires like I should have because I still am blocking out my memories of my wedding night due to poor communication. We also had a video team there from the same company, these men were fantastic they were funny and so comfortable to be around. However when I got my video back I felt like something was missing and wrong. I cried because of how much I didn't like it. I went to bed that night thinking I was the one who messed up and my wedding wasn't beautiful because of the footage I received. Albeit a few months went by before I was able to fully cope with these emotions, I still have not processed completely, but by the time I was able to explain to alex it was just bad I didn't want it at all, he let me know it would cost the 75 dollars and hour to re create it. I felt scammed honestly after paying for the video of the day we would remember for the rest of our lives I have nothing. I never downloaded the video. We asked for the raw footage and was told it would also be more. If you are a bride, who cares about her mental health, do not go with this company. I feel gas lighted and still blame myself for how terrible I feel my day was. I will never have another wedding and I have nothing but photos to remember the one I had. I take responsibility for the role I played to lead to my disappointment but seriously think before you sign anything because I foolishly did not.

I needed someone to live stream a funeral service on short notice and found Portland Event Films and Alex to be exactly what I needed and more. Alex was a true professional. He went out to the venue even before I agreed to use his services, and he found out what kind of audio feeds were available, if internet was available, and if the lighting was good enough. After we agreed to use Alex, Alex went back to the site to test internet connectivity, streaming, and lighting. On the day of the event, everything went well. Alex bought his own lighting because the lighting at the venue was not good. The quality of the video and audio was great and we were very happy with the results. He took care of everything on his own, and we could focus on the service. With the live streaming, we were able to make the service available to people locally, across the country, and the world who wouldn't have been able to make it otherwise. I highly recommend Portland Event Films and Alex for the services offered.

Alex took some really amazing photos of our 3 kids. The ages are 6, 4, and 2... and they are a handful plus the middle one is extremely shy and doesn't like to smile for pictures. Alex was able to get the kids comfortable and laughing it was such a treasure to be able to get some nice photos and even a smile out of our shy guy. The most amazing part was that he was able to get such awesome photos in a short time frame (the weather and kids didn't want to cooperate) Do not hesitate to work with him, you will love everything! He is professional, attentive, and easy to work with. So, so thankful for the experience, it was nice to have some happy memories preserved in a strange time.

I used Portland Event Films to stream my father's memorial service. They were efficient, easy to work with, professional, sensitive and caring, prompt, and the quality of their video was excellent. They also had great communication and followed up with me when I was overwhelmed with planning the service. I would definitely use them again for any occasion.

My wife and I hired Alex to run a livestream for our wedding ceremony, and it couldn't have gone better. Throughout the process he was available, professional, and easy to work with. On the day-of, everything was smooth and relaxed, and the finished product was amazing! My wife's grandparents were able to watch their granddaughter get married despite not traveling, and we owe it to Alex.
