I love how the folks at Think Brownstone build community -- they network, share resources and ideas, foster creative thinking, and draw innovative thinkers and makers into their force field. Designing an online experience for young men with a chronic illness is definitely a challenge. But our partnership with Think Brownstone helped us gain insights into that audience and create a strategy to engage this very savvy and cynical target in ways they, the user, wanted to be engaged. TBI pushed us to move beyond what's been done in Pharma to new, fresh ways of thinking and designed creative workshop experiences to help us get our clients there as well. Coming into a complex disease state isn't easy and their ability to quickly understand the condition and how it affects the lives of these young men was truly impressive. We were always smarter with TBI in the room.

Think Brownstone (TB) has been my Go To User Experience design firm since their inception 6 years ago. When you hear UI/UE experts, most people think of the colors and graphics and TB does the styling with a passion for ease of use and an artistic eye for current, modern design. But, TB takes design far beyond just the styling or look and feel,. They are expert application designers with extensive application process and navigation experience for complex solutions; including complex solutions in regulated industries that require the ability to clearly understand the guidelines and iterate designs to ensure a highly compliant end design. The team includes many broadly skilled client facing designers who work together seamlessly with other unique skillsets back at the TB home office as required; a model that is cost efficient and nimble for their clients. The TB leadership and team quickly build credibility using their design methods, but also project a very easy-going, agile ability to adapt to the needs of the different teams and team members at the company involved. I highly recommend this firm unequivocally.

Do not use them for development. They delivered a website basically created out of spaghetti code with unaddressed security vulnerabilities because they used outdated packages. To add insult to injury, I even found comments left in the code from answers directly pasted from StackOverflow. For an expensive agency based in Philadelphia, I could have gotten this same quality for substantially cheaper had I just paid someone overseas from Upwork. When I showed these issues to the Think Company reps, they had no idea how to solve these problems and just ignored me because they considered the job done. As an engineer, it's appalling they just ship out products for clients with these many glaring issues that should have been caught in testing in any proper team.
