Buhl Park

Great place for outdoor recreation, family oriented, atmosphere and exercise! They hold events there all throughout the year. There is a golf course located directly across the street from the main entrance. The Avalon country club also perimeters the main entrance. Meal Park has nice amenities, such as tennis court ,pool, multiple lakes, members only dog park, multiple play grounds for children, multiple fields, multiple barbecue party shelters, major concert pavilion ,wetlands, kite field, volleyball net, baseball field, extreme disk, wellness fitness/cal aesthetic/ walking trail& so much more! If I could add anything not trying to complain I wish they had basketball courts. Other than that this park is a very historic pillar to the community. It is very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes! It looks better in person!

I absolutely love Buhl Park! Being a runner and a native of Youngstown, it's nice to have a local park large in size that has similar training terrain to Mill Creek Park within a 20 minute drive. If you're a runner and looking to do some hill training, Buhl Park is great for it! Also, there's a decent amount of local road races hosted in the park which traditionally makes for a nice downhill finish.

Thoughts of a small plot of land with a pavilion at a ball field are usually what most people think of when they think of a city park. This place is almost magestic and filled with countless Acres for someone to peacefully and happily get lost in. Well paved roads and stone bridges will grace your path as you travel through the multiple sections of the park. Whether you require tennis courts, unleashed dog park, basketball, swimming, recreational area, bike paths, walking routes, or just simply to connect with nature, this park is ideal. I have seen some of the largest recreational areas in the world and I give props to this park for being leagues above most of them. Dare I say it even rivals New York City's Central Park. The pictures I have taken simply do not do it justice.

I love this place, there is just a calm, a peacefulness about the entire place, the beautiful lake with the fountain and in the background is a beautiful Victorian mansion with a pool.. playgrounds, countless spots for party's and picnics , work out course, disc golf course, tennis, dog park, the List goes on. Please if you go here and any other park pick up your trash. My daughter and I started a tradition of picking up one Walmart bag of garbage each before we play

Relocated to the area from Texas and found this park close to us. We enjoyed the walk with lots of benches for rest stops, quiet, beautiful place. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful park in hermitage for walking your dog and spending a nice afternoon outside. During Christmas, there are festive lights all around the pond.
