Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Emily Berlin

We went for Pioneer Days. Very educational and fun for the kids!! They also host a lot of activities throughout the year and have trails and a creek. Artifacts, bird egg display, and historic cabin.

Kristy Smith

The bird egg museum was nice. The employees were very friendly and helpful. This was a peaceful place to visit. The trails were not as pretty as I expected. There was a stream that was peaceful. Mosquitoes were still pretty bad in October. We didn't see any birds.

Aaron Harris

I love hiking the trails here! There is an abundance of nature, and trails that split off and go in many directions! This is a place for everyone of any age to come and enjoy!

Lesley Roberts

Nicely maintained trails. We were disappointed the swinging bridge it closed but it's a great place to come and picnic and enjoy nature right in the middle of town. We will definitely come back to explore

On our Fall Break trip as a family we stopped by this place on the way back from Chattanooga, Tennessee we decided to stop and visit this place due to its part of the Trail of tears. We hiked a couple of trails and enjoyed our time here. As we hiked the trails we used a free app to hear about the sites and plants that surround us. As we finished our trip we went in the gift shop to look around and buy a couple of things to help us remember our time here. I would highly recommended stopping here as you pass through to see and witness a part of history that is not often talked about in this area of the country.

Sebastian Sanchez

This place offered some great trails. Would have been 5 stars but a lot of the trails aren't very visible or barely maintained. Had a lot of fun crossing the creek.

Daniel

Really nice place to come and walk in the woods and get down in the creek. There is a canoe/kayak launch near the railroad bridge.

William Forbes

I didn't make time to see the grounds but spoke with the grounds keeper and was really pleasantly surprised with the heritage of a place tucked behind and well hidden in Chattanooga. It's a gravel park, no hard tarmac but small enough for everyone and pretty flat in the park itself.
