Oh my. We were just passing through today from Nashville and picked Vertical Coffee off the map. Now, we are avid coffee snobs and this was - hands down - the best coffee we've ever had! Plus, the shop is modern cozy and the prices are competitive. We'll definitely be back the next time we pass this way!

This is definitely the best coffee shop in town. Their coffee tastes insanely fresh. I honestly didn't know lattes can be made so good. Big companies like Dunkin and Starbucks' beans taste burnt in comparison. I only wish they had larger sizes for the coffee. I really like a lot of coffee, so I end up getting two because cup sizes are so small. This is the only place in town where you can watch the batista roast the beans, which is so cool!

I am a little biased since I work here, but I do think the coffee is some of the best I have ever had. My co-workers are the nicest people, and I really enjoy serving others and making their day better with great coffee and a smile! I hope you give us a try someday, and I look forward to meeting you! If you ever have any issues with our coffee, we are happy to re-make it for you or something different on the house!

The prices are excellent, so you can enjoy your favorite brew without breaking the bank. I loved the outdoor shaded seating, which provides a cozy spot to sip your coffee on a sunny day. Plus, there's an enclosed space for small groups if you need a more intimate space. And the skylight overhead fills the shop with natural light, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit feel special.

Such a cute place to get coffee. The cinnamon scones were mind blowing. The coffee was good to and the girl that took our order was super sweet. They have seating outside but unfortunately the traffic is a little heavy. Other than that no complaints here.

This is an amazing local roaster. If you are a frequent coffee drinker and traveling through the Cookeville area. Vertical will take care of all of your caffeine coffee needs. They have an amazing specialty list that has some season drinks as well. The Swanson and the Heat Waves cold foam cold brew was a favorite among our group. This is high quality coffee drinks with a great service and decent seating. The atmosphere is small town with some group areas and free parking outside the coffee shop. Highly recommend for any and all coffee stops! This seems to be the only place that is this quality in driving distance of most of Cookeville.

Came to vertical honestly not expecting much, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. Service was great! Coffee was pretty good. Very unique options, and flavors. Atmosphere was okay. Overall, I am satisfied with my trip to vertical.

I got an iced Leopold Bloom off the March specials that had a nice twist of lemon on top! It has an open and inviting atmosphere and the baristas are super friendly. We'll be coming here more often!
