Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Signed up online for the digital access to view articles about Science Hill Football. Kept getting charged monthly and continued to try to cancel online and couldn't. Come to find out, you have to call to cancel. They told me by June they will have a place to cancel online to meet federal requirements. I guess the forced pay wall and not being able to cancel subscriptions are the only way they can stay in business.
After years of being a subscriber, I have made the hard decision to cancel my newspaper subscription. The JC Press has delivered a quality product, in my opinion, but the decision to end morning delivery and send the paper via USPS mail is one that I just don't understand. My mail is delivered in the early afternoon, and by the time I get home from work and settle down to read it (often the next morning), it is old news. I hope the Press is able to figure out how to return to an early morning delivery.
Very rude employees the lady who in charge of obituary is very rude I ask her pricing on my in law's passing and she yelled at me on the phone and snap at me we had it out else where why hire employees who can't do there job or knows how to treat people
A left wing propaganda outlet and thus a pack of hypocrites. They hang their hat on the 1st amendment and freedom of speech, then cancel and demonetize Scott Adams (author of the excellent Dilbert comic) for speaking an opinion they disagree with. So much for inclusion, diversity, and freedom of expression. It's a one-way street for them. It's the epitome of hypocrisy.
I subscribe to this paper for my dad and It's a waste of money. Half the time he doesn't get a paper and it's always Sunday's paper. You try to report it and you either get a stupid automated message or if you get lucky and talk to a person they're rude I think it sucks to pay good money and get treated this way. They did my grandfather this way all the time and he finally quit subscribing because it wasn't worth it to pay and never get a paper. And the press doesn't care either I wish something would be done about it.
Went to pay my subscription woman punched in wrong numbers and over charged credit card $800.00. She did cancel and resubmitted correct amount but it took what seemed like forever
I was in there today 10/17 at 4:50 the man at desk wasn't helpful!!Me and my wife was looking for Sunday papers when we was looking for one thing when we opened one to look through the paper and told the guy that wasn't the one we was looking for he had done hand us 9 papers so my wife said pay for the one we open and give him the others that hadn't touched yet we'll the guy still charged us and we got 2 papers form 2 sundays ago witch was 9 he informed us that he only had the 8 of oct paper and the paper from last Sunday so we paid for nine papers that ain't gonna get used and got a bad additude and wasnt help at all and a waist of money but one person additude can make a business look bad and make them lose money my family was gonna pay for the paper for monthly but one additude and the way that he treated us my family will not go back and be mistreated how ever everyone has there own look at everything ours is that the man at front desk shouldnt be dealing with public if he can be nice and as for your man that sit at priceless and try sale paper he was really nice and good with people that is what type of person you need in front saleing papers hope that one day we can get paper off of a good person that has a good additude and that don't just take people's money to be taking it!!! Any questions about our conment feel free to contact us thanks for taking time to read sorry it was bad !!!
Terrible site. You overload with so many pages that it locks up computers! You do this to sell over priced online subscriptions, I get that but what about all the sponsors that you are robbing because no one can read your site!
