I'm not even a customer but I already don't like this company glad I didn't follow through with them. I've been moved into my new place for a little over a month now and they have a Telecomm box in my backyard that has exposed HV wires just out, exposed and improperly kept. When I called to get this resolved they sent a technician who didn't even do anything about it, the wires are still there and I keep calling and still nothing is being done. I have two small children, and if one of them gets hurt or god forbid die because of their incompetence and lack of care for my families safety they should expect a lawsuit specifically the careless technician who came back there and did the worst job ever. I have camera footage to show it and I hope when y'all read this he gets fired at the very least for his carelessness for our safety. I added photos of what I'm talking about as well as that technician.
Could not advise against this company any stronger. Called and set up an appointment to have fiber internet service activated to my home. After paying over $200, turns out they DON'T HAVE FIBER IN MY AREA. These people will lie and steal just to make a dollar! Get your internet elsewhere!
I wish I could get no stars!!! This is THE WORST internet company ever! There is always some dang issue, and they never resolve it. We have been fighting for 2 month now and this company is putting our livelihood on the line because they can't run the internet correctly or fix crap like they are supposed to!!!! The only reason I have it is because they are the only freaking ones available!
Back in April I canceled my service to switch to Xfinity, at the time I canceled my service i was informed that I was already six days into the new billing period. So I made sure to ask and confirm three times in the call that I did not owe anything for those days and so long as my final previous bill was paid everything would go smoothly. I received a call on September 26, 2024 from a debt collection agency for the total of $23. Turns out I was not good and sparklight made no attempt to contact me about.
Service interruptions are very common with this internet provider. Customer service only advise is to disconnect it from power. It doesn't fix anything. The app says modem not connected to power when it clearly is. Never again will i use this provider.
Internet went out on the 2nd of October took a week to get an appointment. Finally got the appointment and was told that someone ran over our box and someone needed to come out and put inn a new line. We're on the 18th and still no phone call, no internet even though i've been a customer with them for over six years.... Absolutely Ridiculous to be out of internet for almost a month with no call from anyone at spark light...I've called multiple times and still no answers!
They were the only provider in my area until recently. They are very efficient at taking your money and experts at providing non- stop service interruptions. Hosted a Super Bowl party and no service because "high volume of customer use." They would turn off service AFTER an auto payment and then could not find my account to turn it back on. I would have days with no service due to their administrative and technical problems. When the service was not interrupted, the internet speed was slow and I paid for "premium service ". If it rained, no Internet. Their techs never found a solution. The worst company I ever did business with in my 45 year life. Do not use them if you have a choice. Addendum: See Sparklignt's robotic response, below. It is the best you can expect from this band of gypsies.
It is a great internet provider when it works. If it doesn't work and you need maintenance GOOD LUCK! Customer service can't even get ahold of their own people to give them a update or to see when a repair will be made. I had to wait for a technician to come out and he did and found a problem on their end. He said they would be out that evening to fix the problem and here we are 3 days later and no one has come out. No resolution with no estimated time for the repairs because they will not respond to customer service.
