zero customer support, the webmail client crashes constantly. I keep getting "Server Error ok" within 15 seconds of logging in. no one is helpful. go elsewhere these people clearly dont care for helping fix technical problems

TLDR: It's basically a scam now, stick with their excellent competitors and stay safe from price gouging and unauthorized charges. They used to be the best in the business, but like so many other once-great tech companies they were bought out by an unsavory and borderline-criminal group. Ever since then they've continuously had completely unjustified base price increases, random new "fees" they'll nickel-and-dime you to death with, and will add completely unauthorized charges to your card without notice as often as they think they can get away with it. Meanwhile the software has turned into bloatware and become horribly unstable and low performance, all thanks to new "features" that none of us admins ever asked for nor wanted, which they've force-fed us as part of their latest money grab: trying to turn this server administration tool into a WordPress clone for inexperienced n00bs that have no business running a server. Meanwhile, their competition hasn't changed their price, and continues to offer reasonable and practical improvements for folks like us who actually know how to admin a box.

Their recently revealed disdain for their own customers and greedy money grab practices have stained their reputation, probably beyond repair. Unless they walk back their recent price changes, they're going to lose most of their customer base. Shame on them for being so greedy.

They betrayed all their loyal customers with a new "pricing model", that is unacceptable for most small businesses. Think good and long before doing a business with them. They can rise the prices again and again.

cPanel is a pretty good web hosting panel. It looks sharp and is jammed packed with features we've grown to love. The company however leveraged its position to make a money grab at the expense of its many loyal web hosting partners forcing many to completely re-evaluate business models. Think about a television you once bought and enjoyed with your whole family that eventually started to charge you a monthly subscription based on how many eyes look upon its screen to capture as much of the value you get for each enjoyed hour of entertainment.

Cant reach these people licence changed and cant retrieve it cant call them its int call cost for me and its rather urgent calls dont go through option 3

Shame, poor service. Workers bully's clients on the support site and the forum. I got some manager on the name David was bully me for months. When you called ask for a manager the secretary give excuses and all of that after paid good money to the hosting company on this cPanel license. in the end decide leave all this nightmare and move to Plesk on the Google Cloud.

cPanel betrayed the hosting environment by going after a ridiculously high price increment because of the change in the licensing model. Because of their greed, they are not just harming the hosting environment, but also jeopardizing families income (due to possible business going bankruptcy) A total shame.
