WHMCS

WHMCS is doing everything it can to avoid paying out affiliate funds. From my account, I referred WHMCS to the company I represent (Limited Liability Company) that is a separate legal entity. WHMCS stated that I and the company it represents are the same and will not pay me the funds. I was also supposed to recommend WHMCS to a new company that is being formed and I will be its representative, but we will give up WHMCS altogether and they will not make any money at all. In addition, the company can't solve basic customer problems like generating $0 invoices which is not legal in Europe. They can't solve the EU VAT problem. If the module is enabled, a customer who is not VAT EU cannot register with their tax number. All this convinced me to give up on this software and I would advise anyone against it.

The pricing worries me... As a 'heavy' WordPress user with multiple websites and stores, it's a hinderance & annoyance having to pay $25PM for each licence of the software, which otherwise we have no complaints about. Can you please maybe think about a licensing option for Webmasters and those that owns multiple websites / stores and need multiple licenses, allowing maybe for a one time license payment for 5 - 10 domain names possibly? It's just really annoying having to pay monthly per store or a high One Time Fee for each single installation. Otherwise it can seem like a money-making tactic to only allow users like myself to have to pay for multiple stores and licenses.

Moving my review here as it is announced to be deleted from trustpilot - hopefully here is not deleted.. First the lifetime license is null, then the skyrocket price of the license that afected stores with 1000+ users, now is announcing another price hike from 2024 - another 25%?! (rumored) I admit Whmcs is useful as so many reselling partners have developed modules un top of it, but here it ends. We are currently in the search for another software and probably will cost us to develop integrations but on the long run it will be better. And support FossBilling on the long run maybe. So dear colleagues let's leave the ship to sink into darkness...

I have been a customer of WHMCS for years. A few years ago it was the leader in hosting management software. Unfortunately, it also seems that we only get a few updates in a year and the prices continue to grow every year. In the meantime, look for an alternative..

Rock solid for over a decade!! We have been using WHMCS since 2007 and switching from our previous solution (now defunct) was the best decision our company has made. WHMCS has gone from strength to strength and continued to keep up with current trends. Importantly they've always kept up with API changes made by our suppliers over all these years, so we feel assured that our stuff will continue working! WHMCS does what it says on the tin; takes payments, sets up accounts, registers domains and chases up clients when they don't pay (including automated suspension, renewal and self-cancellation). Furthermore, it has a great support ticket system, knowledge base and downloads section which totally meet our requirements. It is also completely templated, meaning we have been able to flawlessly integrate it with our website - our former program had to be messily hacked into some sort of design resembling our website! Finally, the product support is outstanding. New releases are generally made every quarter, introducing new and helpful features that community feedback has suggested; back in 2009 we were delighted by the introduction of multi-currency, our customers have been loving the closer integration with cPanel and most recently we are digging the new Slack Notifications. Looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings! We have created over 70 tickets so far and each one received a prompt response at all times of the day, night and weekends. It's certainly a refreshing change from our previous suppliers. All in all, we would highly recommend WHMCS to others seeking a web-hosting automation platform. Keep up the great work!
