Clean nice hotel. Open space and nice beds. The value for the room is great it has its own kitchen. Bathrooms were really clean too. Pool is a little small but super clean and family friendly. Didn't have a single issue with the rooms and staff was nice.

Solid 4-star review. The only reason it was not a 5 is the fact that breakfast is not served here. Awhile back it was one of those things that most hotels did not serve breakfast and now it seems like it has flipped so I just need to make sure and check the amenities much closer next time. Although they do not serve breakfast they do have a good assortment of breakfast options and other types of food and beverages you can pay for. Coffee and bananas and apple are offer for free and they had a decent fitness and laundry area. The rooms were roomy and the beds are super comfortable. The customer service was excellent upon arrival and checkout as well. The hospitality department did a great job with keeping the room clean and provided any extra items requested with no issues whatsoever. There is a full sized refrigerator and the kitchen area supplied everything you would need to prepare a meal. Other than the lack of "free breakfast" it was a great experience and I would definitely book here again in the future.

Received outstanding quality customer service and a quiet stay at this location. Giovanni the manager is very friendly and there to address any questions and concerns. Front desk associate Ana will welcome you with a warm smile and make your stay as comfortable as possible. This location is centrally located to restaurants, grocery stores and retail shops. This location is also pet friendly. This is definitely a great place to stay while visiting family and friends.

Unlike my previous visit, the bed was hard as a rock. We were quite disappointed. Also unlike our last visit, the bathroom was not cleaned well. Handrails around toilet and in shower, shower walls, cabinet, all not cleaned. We didn't get the room we booked because the website lets you book a room that's not available, even though you confirmed with a human it was available. However, the food pantry is great and the staff are nice. So maybe the inconsistencies are few and far between typically, this may have been an anomaly. But the thing that is consistent is that the hotel needs some reno, both times we stayed here the bathroom needed fixing up. Damaged drywall, fixtures with heavy hard water damage, rust, badly applied caulk patching.

Pearl greeted me upon check-in with her big smile and told me about the property. She was very helpful with my questions. The room was clean and quiet. My husband and I were in San Angelo for a lil getaway to see the Christmas lights on the Concho River. It was a lovely evening and then when we arrived back at the hotel there was roast & potatoes and rolls and pecan pie with tea! Pearl said she'd have something special. We loved our stay here and will return. Pearl works hard to make everyone have a nice stay.

The staff at this location are amazing. I felt like they treated me like family. They recognized returning guests and greeted them by name. As a business traveler, the warmth they radiated was refreshing. I too often feel like a headache to the front desk, but not here.

We travel nearly every week throughout the state and anytime they allow us to stay at Candlewood, it pleases me. The beds are comfy and the comforter...is a warm comfy welcome addition. I love having a real refrigerator. The staff was very pleasant and were sincerely glad to assist with anything. Room were clean and mattress was completely covered. :). I did find some wobbly tiles in the kitchenette and bathroom areas. Not a big deal to me, just something I noticed. The only real con I have it...the internet. A HUGE miss for me...it is awful, or at least it was for me. After the 2nd day, I called to ask if that was normal and it is. I was given a number to call to speed it up but that really didn't work either. Everything else was great...BIG miss for me on the internet.

Wonderful stay for anyone looking for a one night stay. Front desk was good but I tried to reach out for my Native American owned fan I happened to have left in the restroom before I went to checkout. I tried reaching out multiple times but the cleaning staff had poor communication and apparently they didn't find my fan in the room I stayed in and I'm positive I left it in there.
