Knickerbocker Ranch

We leased the ranch for a moms weekend with kids. We had 5 families together and there was plenty of room for all to have a private room. Drew and crew did a nice job creating fun spots for the kids to play. Volleyball, hammocks, swings, washer pitching and swimming on Dove Creek. We are looking forward to our next trip out to stay there.

A perfect west Texas get-away!! We had 2, 3, 6, 7+ year olds and we ALL had so much fun enjoying the outside! I could sit at the river crossing drinking a beer all day any day. Even the littles were happily playing in the water with the river rocks for hours. Tons of space inside to cook, eat, hangout, and for people to have their own beds (so you get real sleep!). Long walks, adventures, and great relaxing space inside and out. You won't regret driving out here - spend some time just unplugging and enjoying the ranch!

The Knickerbocker ranch is truly a special place. Having visited a couple of times, I catch myself daydreaming about the times spent with friends there...the ranch house itself is spacious, well furnished, fantastic but the surrounding hills, river, (fishing!!)...I can't wait to get back. It's a perfect place for big or small group to get away to, together.

A true gem - whether it be a weekend getaway or a week away from the city! Incredible views, excellent river fishing, and a pavilion to host nightly activities. We brought a projector and screen and outdoor movie night was a big hit with the kids!

It is totally worth the drive from Houston to unplug and relax at Knickerbocker Ranch. Excellent property for a large group. The house is super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. It's a special place and so beautiful! I simply sat for hours outside enjoying the view.

This place is Heaven on Earth. The best get away from the hustle and bustle of life. My favorite is that you can just walk miles and miles and be one with nature. I love sitting by the crossing, where you can sit in the water, play with the "waterfall" and tube on the other side. I go there to relax, read books, lay by the pool.

I love this place, a true getaway and great place to unplug. Hiking, fishing or just swimming in the pool or dove creek the best family getaway we have had in a long time.
