I absolutely enjoyed having my services with Vexus Fiber. I was told I would not have to pay the $25, the guy I talked to on the phone said it would be taken care of. I was also told my 1st month would be free and after that the bill would be 49.99 a month, taxes included. I have never received a bill in the mail or to my email then all of a sudden my services have been disconnected. When I was finally able to find my bill online I was charged the $25 plus $69 for 2 months! Oh and how convenient that they wait until the morning of good Friday to disconnect my services (they are closed) so now I have to wait until Monday to hopefully talk to someone.
Since switching to Vexus I have been able to work from home for the last 2 months with absolutely 0 issues. Previously using a different provider and experiencing issues almost weekly with no absolute resolution from the field team, office or management. With Vexus I have no fear that if an issue would happen to arise, it will be addressed swiftly and effectively. Do yourself a favor and make the switch.
Andrea initially helped us get signed on with Vexus. Now that we need to find a different TV piece, as Vexus is phasing out that service, Andrea has once again gone above and beyond in helping us figure out the best fit. She has taken the time to help my elderly parents and is so patient to explain to them. I appreciate her level of customer service and genuine care for my folks. I wish I could give her 100 stars.
Since being with Vexus I've yet to receive the speeds I'm paying for, even when hooked up to an ethernet cable. Now I've needed to speak to customer service for the past three days. Been left on hold longer than I could allow each day since I would eventually have to get back to work. I've emailed and received no response. Currently on hold with them and sitting at the 40 minute mark. I've also received a message saying my discounts were expiring this month despite being told I'd have them for a year after install. I'll be looking into alternative services soon after these experiences.
There's a clear stipulation on the website that after 13 months the service price increases 10-13 every month for 23 months. With that information being brought to light been trying to cancel service all morning. Don't recommend company at all, if you are trying to cancel you to use 800-658-2150 and get to ANY department. Reason being they have no menu option for the customer loyalty line which deals this x amount of issues.
Got services set up one day and 3 days later I received the 1st bill. Waited and called to get a breakdown of the bill and the agent was very rude and refused to help me with the bill. She put me on mute and just waited there for about 10 min then came back and said she was gonna hang up. I was on that simple call for over 40 min. She had stated that $30.00 was in taxes. ..
Only had for a few days and cancelled due to previous provider offering a better price. The service was fine. Upload speed was extremely fast but the download speed, the more important one, was a bit lower than my current provider. Not slow by any means though and was consistent overall. Not the biggest fan of how I'm expected to pay for the installation when all other providers in my area do not charge for that. Also not a fan of how they will run the line through the air by default and I had to request it be buried, which should be the standard since I'm expected to pay for the install. Pricing is a bit disingenuous since there is an additional fee that you have to pay on top of their advertised rate. In other words, you will probably not save that much money by switching, unless you are currently paying an outrageous price through a different provider. To be clear, it is still cheaper but not by very much.
