I have lived here for two years now and when I saw that the front office was gonna put on a basketball tournament I couldn't believe it! I had lived at apartments around here prior and none have ever really hosted an event that curated to what I am actually interested in. It was super organized and just a really good time with free food and good vibes with everyone involved. I can't say how much I appreciate them thinking about us that enjoy hooping!

My daughter enjoyed living there, but I'm marking them down for their rude, unprofessional, and incompetent accounts receivable service (Greystar). They referred me to collections on an unpaid balance that they never notified me about and were less than helpful when I asked for an explanation.

READ BEFORE SIGNING A LEASE! (Don't be fooled by any of the 5 star reviews on here, they ask their residents to leave good reviews, exchanging reviews for goodies) These people are scammers at their finest. Every 1 star review on here is absolutely true. Go ahead and just help yourself and DO NOT sign a lease here. The location is great, but it is WAY overpriced for what the complex has to offer--they try to thrill you with "fun resident events and goodies" but really that could not care less about their residents when it comes down to it. I have lived here for 3 years and management has been less than helpful literally every single time I have needed them. Everyone in the office seems to hate their job-- I don't blame them-- I would too! The most recent situation that I have been dealing with is living under one of the maintenance men that works at hillside. For the past couple months me, and other neighbors have noticed he will leave his dog on the patio, let the dog pee, and then wash it off with water and bleach which then pours down onto my patio! My patio litterally smells like piss and bleach and the wood railing has molded. You can even see the pee stains off his porch in the corner. It's disgusting, and something I should not be dealing with paying $1300 a month ESPECIALLY!!!! when it's caused by one of hillsides own employees. I can't even use my porch anymore, and it's ruined my patio furniture! I brought this to hillsides attention over 3 weeks ago now. Initially I went it, asked to speak to a manager, who I saw clearly was in the office. The woman who I spoke to at the front desk then went and spoke to the manager in front of me, came back and said that the manger can't speak right now but to send them a detailed email of what's going on and said that they would get back to be my end of day. So I sent a detailed email laying it all out. Radioooooo silence. I called the next day, explaining my situation again, telling them I left a email, the guy on the phone literally just said "yeah we'll get back to you today" and hung up. Shocker! They did NOT! So I gave them a courteous 2 weeks! Still nothing! I called AGAIN, 2 weeks after making the initial complaint because it happened again. Piss porch! My patio reaked of dog piss and bleach. I called, and they told me that that said employee had been out of town, then the next week the employees manager was out of town (how convenient) and that they would get around to it the following week--- by the way, up to this point no manger had NOT directly spoken to me or exchanged emails with me. I sent them a follow up email so they'd have it in writing, making another complaint that it happened again--- and a noise complaint from same said neighbor that I had been just dealing with for the past 6 months because at that point I was just fed up. 3 days later a manger FINALLY emailed me (very brief) mind you. Saying how a conversation will be had with said employee that day and that if I had any other concerns or if it happens again to let her know. Well it happened again, that next morning at 6am. No surprise there. I emailed them again with proof. Will that do me any good? Who knows. Will I have a piss porch forever, probably! This situation I just laid out for you is just one of MANY instances over the last 3 years, that truly should just be unacceptable regarding the complex and management. I can't wait to finally get out of this complex this summer. GOOD RIDDANCE!

Leases are a binding contract. Everyone knows this, but when they tell you they will help you sublease, but have to take care of their vacancies first, know that the latter is true. They are not helpful in your subleasing. It is all on you.

i got stuck in a sticky roomate situation and kaylie was amazing at helping me through everything and helping me make sure hillside stayed my home! kaylie deserves a giant raise! with that being said.. its a VERY hard and frustrating process to try and drop people from a lease and transfer apartments but kaylie was amazing at helping me!

Please read before signing a lease: Every bad thing you read about this complex is true. They treat their tenants horribly, tack on unnecessary charges, no communication, and cannot take responsibility for their wrong doings. I lived at hillside for 2 years. I had roommate issues my first year here and was informed that I could move to a different unit with no penalties/questions/extra fees. Upon moving into my apartment the following year, they charged me extreme move out fees that they could not justify with photos, had me pay another deposit on my dog which they said they would wave, and charged me more per month on my rent. I also handed in my parking pass and was told I would be given a new one in a couple of months. I brought up to the manager that this was an issue, she said I was incorrect and that I had agreed to pay for everything, including the up charged rent. After arguing with the manager over these issues, my car was also towed from my apartment. I notified the front office and Ms. Katie Carter, the office manager intimidated me and spoke down to me before realizing that this was a mistake on their behalf. My entire day was wasted having to try to explain my side of the story in order to get my car back from the towing company. At the end of the second year living with hillside, I decided to look over my lease with an attorney. We discovered that I had been overcharged every single month, amounting to over 1,000 dollars. When I brought this final issue up to Ms. Carter, she finally agreed to look over my documents. If you recall, I had already brought this up earlier in the year and was told that I was incorrect. After looking these details over, Ms. Carter agreed that I had been over charged and she offered to send me a check with the balance that I was owed. That was in June, it is now September. I have not received a check, I keep hearing excuses and from the office, and most recently they offered to send me a gift card for my troubles. I will continue to fight my case with them but I hope this serves as a testament to stay far away from this apartment complex. They are scammers and do not care about your well being. - update- last week of September, I was finally given an amount on a gift card program. Super unprofessional of this apartment to drag out this process and for them to miscommunicate the entire time. Please think before signing with them.
