Roughhouse Brewing

Could not have asked for a better place to host my daughter post graduation party from TXST. It was a great place for family, younger siblings, and friends to gather and enjoy. The Christmas lights were beautiful, soccer field and goal was perfect for the kids, and the food and drinks were amazing. The loft area fit our group perfectly!

We absolutely love bringing our tour groups here! A legit farmhouse brewery that produces top notch foeder aged beer as well as many other styles. It sits on a beautiful property with plenty of outdoor seating and has a stage for live music and comedy. The staff and ownership fully embody Texas hospitality, and it is definitely worth the drive from wherever you are to check this place out. See y'all there, cheers!

Out here for Barks for Beers, great venue! Plenty of outside shade, and walk around space. High enough on the hill that there's a breeze too. The flight is enough for 2 people, and the variety is great. IPA, sours, pilsner, etc. Sordid Nature dark saison is really solid beer my favorite of the flight. 78666 is a SOUR cherry! Alternate sips.

Great little brewery. Good selection and the half pots were big(8oz). The property is nice and nature oriented. The beer was great, the only one I did not like was the pumpkin ale but what do you expect? The staff was super friendly. I would definitely come back if in the area!

We've been coming to Roughhouse for several years and always love our visits. Unfortunately we don't live close so it's not as often as I'd like. But each time we visit I'm always impressed with the beer, food, and ambience. The fireworks shows are always quite nice as well!

A must visit! We are txstate alumni visiting for the weekend and we checked this brewery out. It checked all the boxes for a perfect Saturday outing. It was dog friendly, kid friendly, has live music, and great food & drinks. There were even deer out in the fields. We will be back on all future San Marcos trips!

Love the atmosphere, food & drink and hospitality. We had the pastrami sandwich (YUM) and Hazy Hays IPA (again, YUM)

Homey country brewery in a beautiful setting and wood vaulted building. The downstairs bar is below loft seating and looks out on covered patio tables and a rambling back yard of picnic areas and cacti. I enjoyed a flight, and their pecan bock is one of central Texas'best beers. Picturesque surroundings, crisp beers, and friendly staff.
