Vie Lofts at San Marcos

I had a fantastic experience touring Vie Lofts at San Marcos! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and eager to answer all my questions. I really appreciated the peaceful location, away from the busier side of town, while still being convenient to everything. The property itself was impressively clean and well-maintained, which made a great impression. Overall, it's a great option for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-kept place to live!

My experience as a guest at Vie has been very pleasant. The team has helped me tremendously during my brief stays last year. The layouts of the rooms are surprisingly big and cozy, and my favorite thing about them is that there are no carpets anywhere which is something I dislike about the majority of apartment complexes. If I lived in the area, I would have considered renting here just for that. The outdoor space is very cozy and gets plenty of sun for those who enjoy sunbathing, but they also have shaded areas for those of us who cannot tolerate the sun. One of my favorite things about this place is that management is generally pretty reachable thanks to their communication methods from what I've seen. And of course the views are to die for and the complex is close to many recreational areas.

I love the location! Obviously being close to campus is a plus, but this side of campus has been a far better experience than living close to the square. The staff at Vie Lofts is a family. A small group of workers that takes care of the building and its tenants so attentively and carefully. As a graduating senior who has only lived here two years I highly suggest you get in and stay here as long as you can, as I wish I could stay longer. I would say as far as student living goes this is your best option. Last thing I would like to add for all the ladies and gentlemen out there looking for love: There is a hunk that works at the desk in the leasing office... Keep an eye out!

This is a beautiful complex geared towards students. It's conveniently located near Texas State University. It has lots of amenities for entertainment and also studying. I really enjoyed my tour. The manager was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered all my questions. When it comes time to choose, I will check here first.

Great community, close to campus. Management is excellent and very helpful. Carson in particular is always a pleasure to interact with and she goes out of her way as does the rest of her team. Highly recommend.

Lived here for 5 months ( after finding a sublease) and would not recommend at all. The staff are friendly here but let's be honest you sign a lease to live comfortably and nicely... I never felt these things here. My major problem lies with the buildings quality and how the company chooses to operate this place. My first persistent issue living here was the timing the office closed daily. They close extremely early on weekdays and are NOT open at all on the weekends. I had different urgent emergencies that would occur and I couldn't get a hold of the manager here without feeling I'm evading their weekend time- which I personally think should still be working time for a residential living business. Other living communities in txst close at 7pm and are all open on weekends to assist their residents 24/7 but here, it's a completely different situation that adds to your burden in getting a hold of the property. I can't even speak about the quality of the rooms, utilities in the apartments and bathrooms cause it's so terrible for the price of rent you pay. I had ants visit my room every week from the walls never ate in my room or kept food in it to prevent this but it kept going on. My bathroom cabinet had a bad opening at the side and the sink had bad plumbing that could never be fixed. When it rained my room had a wall leakage I got it fixed by the building but it still leaked again each time it rained so calling in frequent work orders here is a part of your living experience... Also the kitchens are really small for some reason(very different from the website) but maybe that was only my room. If you want peace of mind and just want to live and pay rent stress free and also want to prevent getting charged for unnecessary things don't live here honestly. This has been the worst place I've personally leased with.

I have been living here for going on 4 years and it has been a wonderful place for me to live. I will sadly not be living here much longer because it has come time for me to start the next chapter of my life, but I cannot leave without acknowledging how awesome it has been to live here. One of the big selling points for me was that it is super close to campus, which was great for me because I don't have a car. Along with that, the vibe is just super cozy which I also love. I also really love to hang out on La Vue, the patio area / swimming pool on the third floor. The building also comes with a gym, yoga studio, lounge area, and study room, all of which are available for residents to use 24/7. The only (minor) complaint I have is that the elevator is slow and there's only one, so you might be waiting a few minutes. But I've gotten used to it, and I've also learned to listen for where the dings are coming from so I can gauge how far away the elevator is. Overall, Vie Lofts has been my safe haven for the last 4 years and it made me truly sad to have to deliver my notice of intent to vacate form, because I truly would keep living here if I could. All the management people have been awesome and have made my experience here amazing! Thank you Vie Management for making my first apartment a wonderful place to live! I will seriously miss all of you so much. <3
