We full time RV and stay at an RV park in Terrell, TX for the winter. I'm also an avid Microsoft Flight Simulator fan and if you don't know the sim is a WiFi hog which RV's parks are not fond of. I usually have to run the sim using all the lowest settings in order for it to run. Anyway, while there my son offered to sell me his 1 year old gaming laptop (mine is 6 years old) at a really good price so I bought it. The bad part is the download size of the Flight sim plus the other purchases comes to just over 200gb's. The RV parks WiFi download speed on a good day at best is about 3mbps. After about 5 hours with less than a gig downloaded I gave up cuz I'm too old to wait that long. Not knowing a whole lot about the outside world of WiFi and not knowing that libraries and a lot of stores having free accessible WiFi I came to the conclusion that i would have to contact an internet service directly to see if I can work something out with them. I found a local internet provider company (Ants-Technology) located a few miles from the RV park and called them up. Now mind you, I am not a customer. I explained my situation and with open arms they said come on down! You're more than welcome to do what I needed to do! I walked in and was greeted by Jeramy and soon after I met Robert. Both were very friendly, helpful and answered all of my questions about their company and the work they did while my laptop was downloading. A couple of very knowledgeable people. Amazing! I had to return the following day as it took a couple of hours for the initial download but ran out of time to finish. This was no problem for them and welcomed me back anytime. I showed up the next day and this time the owner, Terry, was there. Super nice, friendly, and always had a smile. He too, made me feel like I was one of them. The place and people were all a great experience! I highly recommend Ants-Technology for your internet needs. Just from being there observing I could tell they care about service, about their customers, and they are just unbelievably smart. Thank you Jeramy, Robert and Terry for allowing me to see behind the scenes and for allowing me to do what i needed to do. Also, thank you for being friendly, patient, and helpful. I couldn't have asked for more!!!

We paid $100 or more for 30 Mbps when we had not other choice on Saddle Ridge. But they did keep us connected til Spectrum installed Fiber in the area. Paid the same price range for 1 Gig then.

The Law Offices of Houston Smith, P.C. are so pleased with ANTS Technology! Jeremy and Robert respond to my questions/concerns very quickly, and they have great customer service. We just got fiber optic and it is super fast! The owner, Terry, even stopped by to make sure we were satisfied with our new service, which was a very nice touch.

Excellent company and customer service, Terry, Rhonda, and Jeremy, have been great over the several years of our service. Were moving to Fla. I would HIGHLY reccomend them tho.

Who says lighting doesn't strike the same place twice was WRONG! We were so excited to finally have the ability to have fast WiFi. We were super pleased and referred all our friends and neighbors. However, in July our house was stuck by lightning because of the Antz Technology antennae on our roof. We have lived there for 20 years and never had a problem until the antenna was installed. The technician came out and replaced it and assured us it was now grounded and would NEVER happen again. I paid for the replacement of the tv and continued service. On Friday, the antenna was hit by lightning a second time due to no lightning rod installed and insufficient ground wire and it fried the new TV I purchased. We then went without service all weekend and all day Monday because they do not service on weekends. If the company compensated for the TV, lack of service and can either add a lightning rod and/or relocates the antenna, I will come back with a 5 star rating. If not, I would say find another company that takes care of their customers. To be continued......

9/3/18 Update After writing this review the owner of the company decided that we will be unable to renew our contract. No communication with the owner except in the form of a letter telling us he'll be picking up our equipment today. I can only assume it's because of my review. Unbelievable. I will not ever recommend this company to anyone. Good thing AT&T will be taking over this area with the next year. 1/21/18 Ok. We wanted to update our review. When we first got ANTS Technology in 2015 we were just happy to have internet service where we live. Service was spotty but it was there and at the time Terry always helped us as quickly as possible. He even helped my daughter with her yearbook ads for sponsors. Super amazing. As the last few years went by service was still spotty and Terry was still dealing with more customers and a service that needed daily maintenance. After promises of Fiber Optic creeped closer we got more and more excited. In summer of 2017 it was supposed to be in place but had some unfortunate delays. When September rolled around we still didn't have Fiber Optic service which was gonna provide a faster and more reliable network. Came home from work one day and internet was totally down...again. After a rude conversation with their office we decided to write a review about this company. After our 1 star review Terry called immediately. We had a very tough conversation with him about the service for 45 minutes. He was so upset that we gave him a one star review he recommended that I cancel service with him. I couldn't believe it. Never in my life have I been told by the owner of a company to cancel service if it doesn't meet my expectations. No apology, no pro rate for a few months...nothing. Just cancel the service. The conversation ended with Terry trying to schedule an appointment to come to my house to check my gear. I declined the offer. Sometime in October they must have got the fiber optic up and running and I'll tell you what. It's everything Terry said it was gonna be. Faster and more reliable. In the last three months I've noticed a major increase in stability in the service overall. HD quality streaming, hours of uninterrupted gaming sessions, and just overall a better experience. I would highly recommend this service to anyone just outside of Terrell. 10 MBPS Of download and 4 MBPS upload consistently. Everyday. I check it. Awesome recovery of service by ANTS Technology. My only complaint is the conversation I had with Terry regarding the lack of service. I understand that when you put everything into your company and someone gives you a review like I did it can feel like a personal attack. It was not. I just wanted what I was paying for. Like I said. Everything is running amazing these days and I will definitely recommend ANTS to anyone in rural areas for Internet . I copied and pasted this review from their Facebook page. I posted this review back in January and realized that they deleted my review off their Facebook page. I thought the information that I provided in this review was real and informative. This is my experience with ANTS Technology.

Update 5/22: Upgraded an extra 10MBPS, no noticable difference. Still paying way more than what it's worth. Can barely stream cable, consistently losing service while working from home. This company doesn't deserve the business until the put some resources into their service. Their service doesn't get much worse than this. Internet goes out every other day for 15-20 minutes, not ideal if you work from home. Streaming cable or gaming online is basically not an option. Definitely the worst internet service I've ever experienced and for the price it's an awful value. But the people seem nice. At least they're friendly.
