Something has changed and I suggest you look elsewhere for services. They were great during initial setup a year and a half ago. Now I need one small change and they won't respond to emails and won't return phone calls. Nobody ever answers the support number, we are asked to leave a message which I've left plenty of and zero responses. Same with the many emails to support also.
Zero Accountability and Poor Customer Service I have had a beyond frustrating experience with Sesame Communications. Their office transitions are a mess and completely mishandled. They have a habit of charging for other Doctor's accounts in addition to your own. When we brought this to their attention, they admitted their mistake and promised refunds for the overcharges. However, months have gone by, and not a single refund was issued, leaving us thousands of dollars out of pocket. Emails and phone calls are not returned, and I have been told that upper management does not like to show up to the office on time so they can not be reached at any given point. This company has shown zero accountability and lacks basic professionalism. I would never trust them and strongly advise others to stay far away. If you're looking for a company that values your business and follows through on its promises, look elsewhere. Absolutely unacceptable.
Do Not use Sesame or Dentrix (their parent company) for anything. Where do I even begin.... Basically, everything that Sesame/Dentrix offers you is a total scam. We are always offered the next big great thing. This new product is so much better, and you won't have the same issues as with this other service. Well then, we switch over and it's the same buggy system if not worse. DO NOT waste your time with their Pay Per Click as that is the biggest waste of money. You may as well just burn your money. They said another office with your budget will see 20 new patients a month from this. We got 1 new patient in 2 months and that one didn't even show up. Granted we got traffic to our website but who's to say that's actual patients and not just farmed clicks. Avoid using Sesame/Dentrix if you are starting a new practice, as you will just be on tech support for hours every week dealing with some new bug they are trying to deal with.
Difficult to work with. Difficult to reach. Does not fix issues- we gave them 11 months to fix issues with Sesame Patient Communications. Billed us for an extra month after we left and did not return our calls to resolve the issue. We used Sesame for many years and are very disappointed.
I have never been so disappointed in customer service. First off, I was paying for something that I never received (SEO package) and when I attempted to address this I was told they would look in to a credit for my account but then never heard back from billing. I had attempted to reach the web operations manager , Mike Van Fleet, for a month and a half via phone, email, and my henry schein rep. I only ever heard back from him or anyone in the company the day after I put in my request to cancel all services and after I had even followed up while at a conference in Vegas and spoke to a rep at their booth. I have proof of attempting to contact him and was given the narrative that they had been trying to reach out to me, when I offered to send proof I was told that it wasn't necessary. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR ONLINE PRESENCE. I lost significant standing on Google searches and no one gave me any solutions over the course of an entire year.
