Firetoss

I have been working with Firetoss on many accounts for the past 5 years, mainly with the organic social media growth strategy. In this timeframe they have been able to double our organic search volume and goal conversions. They are quick to respond and their ticket system is very easy to use. Each account manager that I have worked with have been really great and responsive. I highly recommend them!

Was prompted to write my first ever google review after chatting with someone at a high school football game who had an equally bad experience with Firetoss. Initially interviewed 4 SEO companies around SLC and they basically gave the same spiel and price. Made the mistake of choosing Firetoss. Huge promises of what they would/could do. One year and $14,000 later, our website traffic was considerably less than when we started with them and obviously, so were our sales. I attribute that to the fact that instead of me doing SEO work, nobody was. Went through 3 different account reps because they kept quitting. Each time, the new rep had no clue about our acount and we were basically starting over again. The blog posts were terribly written and come to find out, they have university kids writing them for free, and it shows. I could not get them to send monhly reports (because there was nothing to report on) or return calls UNTIL there was about a month left on our contract. All of a sudden we were getting calls apologizing for the problems and making new promised about how the next year would be different. Maybe these folks excell, (eg. wont steal your money) in other website marketing areas, but if your looking ar SEO services, avoid Firetoss at all costs.

I have bombarded them with questions and last minute changes on our site and they have just taken everything in stride. We will continue to work with Firetoss on SEO and other marketing! I've seen other SEO companies charging enormous amounts of money for a quality of work that doesn't even come close to Firetoss. Instead of doing the initial SEO setup and leaving it on autopilot, Firetoss is constantly thinking up new strategies and implementations to reach out to customers, and increase Google rankings. I couldn't recommend Firetoss enough. They're extremely talented and know their stuff. So ignore the other guys. Firetoss has you covered.

Anymore a web design company needs to be an SEO company. This firm does some of the best SEO we've ever used in my work. Within a month your ranking within your goal. Their customer service is one of the best and they're not high priced, rip you off firms like the others in town. Their CEO Tony is awesome, he will call you to make sure things are going well no matter how small you are.

I would never recommend this company to build a website. Let me first say though that Madeline over there was always polite, kind, respectful and as helpful as she could be and she was the best part of dealing with Firetoss. They built a website for us with a webstore and there is a shipping issue where it quotes rates much to high. For example a 3 lb box should be $12 shipping, but it was charging $135! They didn't know what the issue was. We spent several thousand dollars to build the site and we had to take it down after taking it live. We went back to our old site until we can find someone else to fix it. As the site was being built I had to make corrections and adjustments to all of our products, things not expected of Firetoss to do. After I had done them Firetoss had to do some other things and they had to choose to overwrite the changes I made or their changes and they choose to undo at least two weeks worth of changes I had made to products. I admit that I am not sure why both couldn't have been kept maybe there was a good reason. Why couldn't they have exported my products and import them after their changes? Another issue is the site is slow. Why was that not addressed before it went live? They reached out to us several weeks later to see if they could help us fix the issues, maybe at a negotiated rate but I will not give them anymore money to fix something that should have been part of the original build. Very disappointed! First estimate to fix the site from another company is over $6,000. Keep in mind this is a new site. You would think that a company that specializes in building sites would be able to know what the issues are and fix them.
