Customer Reviews & Testimonials
I have stayed in many Marriott properties in my life time and I rely on residence inns for long stays. I seek these hotels for their awesome kitchens and the ability to cook my own meals. First off, this property has a parking lot that charges you $15/day. It's not that expensive than some other hotels in the area. It's not included in the hotel rate. Secondly, I work during these long stays and my job requires access to internet. On march 25th the internet service was gone for the entire day and the front desk told me that Verizon was working on it. Well it's past 9 pm and now they are telling me a lot of Marriott properties are suffering from it. Calling other properties in the area, they are not aware of this outage. Lastly the property is clean but it's a bit outdated. The pots and pants in their kitchen and the utensils show their age. If you are really looking for a residence inn in the area, make this one your last choice. There are better ones close to this that are in better shape.
Close to DC and adjacent areas. We were staying for a funeral so not the typical guest but the hotel was clean and had a decent Continental breakfast in the morning. There's an outdoor pool, tennis, basketball court in the center courtyard. If you like to sleep in, request a room not near the courtyard as it seems a lot of parents let their kids play basketball at 6:30-7am because they can run around crazy while the parents can watch from inside at the breakfast area. Great for parents, not great for anyone who had a late flight and wanted to sleep in There's parking, easy to get Ubers to train stations or downtown DC etc Would recommend to anyone traveling in the area as a group and wants a kitchenette etc
Good quality hotel - I would certainly stay there again. Overall a bit dated, but clean with good service. Breakfast was typical / bad (like most hotels). There is a Mexican / Tacos restaurant very close to the hotel ... excellent tacos and it also serves breakfast.
I've stayed at this property for weeks at a time while working in the area. This location is very convenient for the Northern Virginia/DC area. There is east access to Arlington Blvd, the 395 and 495, yet the property doesn't feel like you're in the middle of everything. It's a simple walk to an Aldis, a CVS, and a variety of restaurants, but the hotel is still tucked away at the same time. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. There is a pool and hotub insight that is opened from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There is also a recreation area to shoot some hoops or play corn hole. The complimentary breakfast is very nice with a nice variety to choose from. The gym is simple yet adequate. The only negatives are that the property is a few years old, so there is some wear and tear you'll notice from time to time. I also have to add that the maintenance seems to be on top of repairs as the needs arise. Lastly, if the breakfast hours are posted from 6 to 9, and you come in at 8:30 to eat, there may be little to nothing left. They do not replenish til the end of service times in my experience, so be there an hour before closing time. This is the only area of service that's ever really brought any amount of frustration. Overall, I would certainly recommend this property and will most definitely stay again. The staff really are what make this place a home away from home.
We had spent our day at the near buy hospital. We checked in at 10 pm. Being greeted by a very pleasant helpful gentleman behind the desk was wonderful. Our room was most welcoming and laid out nicely for my exhausted family and we were still near the hospital for our patient.
Overall a 3. Reason is the room had a musty smell. It smelled moldy. The breakfast was decent. Staff were nice and accommodating. There were not really any amenities. Parking is also extra.
Absolutely love to stay here on my business trips, i stayed here thrice. Love there room space its a residence seriously.
With a little renovation this place would be amazing. The service was incredible, super friendly and helpful. The location was great, walking distance to a lot of stores and restaurants. However, the rooms were sad and very run down. Our doors to the bathroom and bedroom did not close, the toilet seat was falling off. All the faucets were loose and the shower handle and stopper were hanging on by a string. The kitchenette was nice, but the cabinets were old and off their hinges. The carpet was old and stained and the furniture had major pet damage. That being said, the breakfast was one of the best we have had in the U.S. and it almost made up for the run down rooms. We want to stay here next time, but not until they renovate the rooms.
