Front Royal Wines

We stopped in while enjoying the Front Royal Wine and Craft Festival. This turned out to be the best part of the visit while we enjoyed a free tasting to boot. The wine selection is great and we departed with more than a few bottles :-) Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. What a hidden on Main Street gem!

Daniel provided a private wine tasting for us at our cabin with 8 of us while we were visiting. The variety of wines we tasted were unique and his knowledge was incredible. What a fabulous way to enjoy visiting wine country without leaving where you're staying.

Brittany helped us out and we had WONDERFUL conversation along with tasting beautiful wines, which we ended up buying a couple of bottles. Always a lovely time here!

Such a quaint but also well stocked wine shop! Lauren was not only welcoming and friendly to us and our pup but very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

The BEST! We used Front Royal Wines to purchase our bulk bubbly order for our wedding. Daniel was above and beyond amazing. He is so kind and extremely knowledgeable. Daniel gave us several options to choose from based on our needs and wants, and explained each selection wonderfully. We had our order within a week. It was an absolutely painless process and I cannot recommend them enough. Can't wait until the next time we have wine needs, Front Royal Wines will always be my go-to!

A charming wine shop in the heart of downtown Front Royal. They usually have guest wineries offering tastings - wineries from around the world (the Saturday I visited, it was a winery from Spain offering some sparkling wines called "Cava," all delicious). Some hard cider and local beer options too. A decent Virginia wine selection - mostly from wineries in the area. But there could be more offered here. Ox Eye, for example - a great winery in Staunton. Prices for the Virginia wines are pretty much what they charge at the wineries themselves but I did see a bottle from Linden for nearly $100 (must've been a great vintage and the wine may no longer be available at the winery itself). If you've got that kind of money, go for it. It's probably great. The staff are knowledgeable and some worked at Virginia wineries in the past.

Front Royal Wines is not what you expect as wine store, however much more. The owners take great pride in global wine selections, and even local, regional, and Virginia state wine selections. The ambiance with a metal tiled ceiling, wine cellar atmosphere, pyramid of chocolate, daily select wine tastings on a stained white oak slab, and thorough wine knowledge narratives brings a refreshing experience. A trip to Front Royal Wines offers the taste of the best wines around the globe. Can't wait for a wine tasting from around the world one month at a time!

This place was a pit stop before going to a wedding in Shenandoah national park, and we are OBSESSED. The woman who worked here was so sweet. We got some amazing pumpkin beers. Top of the line charcuterie, and a bottle of wine local to Virginia that was some of the best I've ever had. We're from Denver Colorado, and connected with the woman serving us about that area. I can't wait to go back. She made our entire weekend with her choices. 10/10 can't wait to come back.
