We had an incredible time at Shandoaha Axe Throwing! My husband and our 8 and 12-year-old sons stumbled upon this gem, and it was the perfect family outing. The owner was so friendly and welcoming, making sure we felt right at home. She explained safety procedures and axe-throwing techniques with such patience, especially with my boys, giving them helpful tips to make the experience even more enjoyable. The food was amazing! The pork tacos were absolutely delicious, and my sons couldn't get enough of the pretzels with queso, and the garlic Old Bay tater tots - they were literally fighting over them! After throwing axes, we ended the visit with the kids having a blast in the paint room. They each took home their own unique paint-flinging canvas masterpiece, which was a fun, creative touch. We didn't have time to try the virtual golf, but we're already planning our next visit! If you haven't been to Shandoaha Axe Throwing, you're definitely missing out on an amazing time! Highly recommend it!

Attended a paint night fundraiser here this evening and the owners were generous enough to donate the space for the occasion! What a great way to support our local kids! My girls are excited to try the new paint activity and of course we will be back to axe throw! What a wonderful place and great food.

My dad and I had a great time here! Got some great food, played for an hour and stayed for another hour to play bingo and karaoke! the staff and other costumers were super friendly :) affordable and fun- highly recommend!

Holly is great! Awesome local spot with tasty bar favorites. Also has golf simulator and a few games of chance. Cool spot

Recently celebrated my brother in laws birthday here and they were nothing but amazing! A couple people in our party struggled with how to throw the axe and without even being asked staff came over to help. Everyone about 15 minutes in were able to hit the target almost every time with the staffs helpful tips. Do not worry if you've never thrown an axe in your life still come here! They will guide you and you will be an axe throwing pro by the end of it. The food was exceptional and even found out they do musical karaoke every other Saturday as well, definitely will be back!

Delicious food! Family friendly atmosphere. Food and axe throwing for adults and kids. Pac man machine. BBQ chicken with Mac n cheese, corn bread side was delicious. I loved the Mac n cheese! Very fun place! Owners are amazing! We will definitely be coming back.

We came here August 2021. It was fun and quite unique game but a bit scary for me to throw the axe. It's not that easy to score points. The owners were nice.

This place was amazing and has great customer service. Every single person that we interacted with who works there was so friendly and helpful. The food was delcious, and so were the mountain cobbler ciders. We liked the instructions in the beginning. They were very thorough and helped us with our technique. The viking helmet are such a fun prop to play with and we appreciated our waitress (Alexis) offering to take our picture. Thank you to the whole crew for making our date night a great one!
