Twi-Lite Inn

I was shocked at how clean my room/bathroom was! There was a couple mistakes here and there like hair on my pillows but other than that- quick easy check in. Owner was very friendly. THERE ARE NO BUGS!!!!!! I double triple and quadruple checked over and over again to see if their was roaches or bed bugs(or signs of them) i have had bed bugs at other hotels and it dint take long for them to show themselves. me and my boyfriend will absolutely be back. It's hard to find cheap hotels that don't have bugs,and aren't as clean as this one.

I chose this motel because it is less expensive ($95 total) than standard Wyndham type motels, and because on the web the Twi-Lite looks very cute and mid-century. When I arrived on a Friday night in October 2024 I found that the motel was not as cute as the photos suggest. Then again, the outdoor pool is closed and it's not summer time. In the room the coffee is good. The pink and green tile bathroom is certainly cute. But the bathroom is small and cramped.. You can walk to convenience store (adjacent) and Arby's restaurant (two or three blocks). Not bad and not overpriced. I would stay here again.

I read lots of reviews about this little motel. Yes it's probably from the late 50's early 60's. The bathroom had the original tile and I believe tub. I loved it. It was clean. Plenty of room. We made the reservation literally the day before. We were on our motorcycle and loved that we were able to get a room and park right in front of our room. they have a pool. Not huge but plenty big enough to enjoy. And it was clean. We were only a few minutes to the park and that made it very nice. Im not sure if they have coffee in the morning. But I imagine that they do. The owners were very nice. they have lawn chairs by each room so you can sit outside and not be stuck in your room. We took advantage of them as the weather was nice and we had had a long ride. If we go back again I will definately stay here again. The night after this we stayed at a well know Inn. Lexington Va. I am writing a review about that one.

Stayed here a couple of years ago before a motorcycle ride on Skyline Drive from north to south. Nice people and a nice, clean motel. I would do it again if in the area.

We like to support the local economy where we can so stayed at this independent motel. It's a budget place but the room had been recently painted and the furniture looked new. Room was a good size and there was WiFi, big tv and a fridge plus microwave. The bathroom needed updating but was clean. For the price paid we were satisfied. ||Melting Pot Pizza up the road is a good dinner option but take cash as they don't accept cards.

Served it's purpose. Clean and comfy beds. Bathroom could use better ventilation and door barely opens against 2nd bed. It also would not fully shut no matter how hard you tried, so it couldn't be locked either for privacy.

Great little roadside motel run by wonderful people. Maria made reservations and checkin a breeze. Updated not long ago, it is clean and comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate, I checked! Good job! They even had a pool with a nice flower garden. Hidden gem, would stay again. Even has a convenience store next door where we got coffee the next day!

The motel is right in town and it's not a chain. It's a mom and pop operation that provides a clean, comfortable stay. All you could need accommodation for visiting the area or for one night ||||In room 26 we had a comfortable king bed with a refrigerator microwave and a TV that was almost the size of our bed. Lots of channels and great reception. The bathroom was beautiful retro tile in pink and mint green but it was spotless as were the sheets and the entire room. It was toasty warm on a chilly night. The water pressure in the shower is the best we've ever experienced. Parking was right outside your door. A great Pizza place close by as well as Seven 11. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a great night sleep and the price was amazing $78 perfect.||||if you've read any of the other reviews, don't pay attention to that snobby dust on the window sill comment That just doesn't describe this place.
