Glo Fiber

LOVIN' GLOFIBER!! We got our GloFiber installed last Saturday and we are loving the STRONG signal we're getting!! Most of our devices connected easily, except our older cams which prefers 2.4ghz. Anyway... So I call Glo to get some help with router(which is a dual band router). And I get Alex who creates a 2.4ghz SSID for the router OVER THE PHONE!! I mean what company does that these days!?!? Usually you have to schedule an appt for a tech to come check the issue out. I'm gloriously happy and in love with my new friend Glo!!!

May seem trivial to some people but I'm a technician myself in a different trade and during the "rough in" process, noticed they ran the cable wire up the pole over top of multiple tree limbs, about 2ft off of the pole itself.. no big deal.... Called and asked when they returned to finish the job (burying lines, etc..), to please secure wire to pole as to not have issues if a storm arrived and limbs rip the cable wire down.. when they returned, not only was the request to secure the wire ignored but they left their trash electrical tape lying in my yard by the pole.. as a technician myself I pride myself on excellence and the very least you can do is pick up your trash... as well as run a secure wire up a pole. This exudes pure laziness in my opinion and a lack of customer service. I communicated an easily correctable issue and was even understanding... I am aware this doesn't reflect the quality of the company itself, but whatever technician was sent to my home while I was away at work was not satisfactory. Do better please.

Adam from Glo fiber is the best. By far best customer service/sales representation I've ever experienced over the phone. Beyond helpful and an incredible asset to glo fiber. If I owned a business Adam would be my first recruit. 10/10 experience because of Adam from central Virginia. Plus Fred installation guy is awesome too. 5 stars.

Glofiber continues to go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Works well & is the most affordable provider in my area. Called today with a tech issue and Evan was super great! He sent people out to help the same day and they were so helpful in fixing the issue.

Glo Fiber offered me installation services, then no-call no-showed the appointment after I had my utilities marked and took the day off of work. When calling customer service I was told the installer had postponed because they would need to lay more conduit. I called a month later, same story. Another month later, same story. Finally, I called today and was told my account was disabled and they were removing my address from their list because they didn't want to do the install. I understand exceeding an install budget, but they shouldn't have offered the service in the first place and they *especially* shouldn't have cost me money and time by refusing to communicate.

We had Peter do our install, very professional, install was quick, and he explained everything where the lines would be run. Would definitely recommend Glo fiber. Justin was our sales rep and was very informative and easy to reach with any questions we had.

Since I'm unable to make a report by phone, I'm documenting this incident here. I encountered a company vehicle being driven in a highly reckless and dangerous manner. The driver was traveling 40 mph in a 55 mph zone, then suddenly accelerated to 65 mph before slamming on the brakes--behavior that created a serious safety hazard. I was forced to go from 55 mph to a complete stop within seconds, which is completely unacceptable. While I wasn't able to capture the license plate, I did note the company vehicle number, which was located on the upper right of the trunk. I hope this information helps identify the driver responsible and prevent similar incidents in the future.

Dan got me a great deal as a first time customer! Installation and setup was simple and straightforward. Had one small issue with the modem after setup but I called customer support and they fixed it quickly. We've had service for a few weeks and the speed has been great, with no connection issues or interruptions. And today we got an Amazon Fire Stick in the mail for free as a thank you!
