Our 2019 kitchen remodel was our second project with the team at Gray Fox. They first designed and built a solid cherry expandable dining room table for us about 5 years ago. The working experience and end product of that table brought us back again. Aaron is meticulous in his detail, planning, and execution. He was careful to listen to our requests for the aesthetic, organization, and function of our kitchen cabinets during the planning and design phase. The craftmanship of our mid-century solid walnut slab doors with continuous grain was impeccable. The attention to detail in the built product and installation was obvious and perfectly executed. We couldn't be happier with the end product! Would defintely recommend Gray Fox for any custom project need!

We contracted with Gray Fox to build a kitchen table from spaulted maple we harvested from my in law's property. We are thrilled with the final product. The whole process, from start to finish was over 3 years, so it's not for those in a hurry!

Gray Fox built a walnut media center for us. They had a big backlog of work, so we had to wait several months, but the unit was finished on time, and we are very pleased with the result. We would definitely use Gray Fox again if we have future hand-built furniture needs.

Aaron and his team at Gray Fox did an absolutely outstanding job on our dining room table, we were blown away with the finished product. We are a year and a half out from receiving our custom walnut table and it looks as good today as the day it arrived! This is with us using the table every day and with two little ones in the house giving it the full wear and tear a young family does. Aaron was extremely professional, he is both an artist and master craftsman, and as a perfectionist I truly appreciated his attention to detail with every aspect of the piece. I can not recommend Gray Fox enough, they produce timeless pieces that are both beautiful and functional!

We love Gray Fox! We commissioned a dining room table that was a bit out of the ordinary and we had a great experience working with Aaron to design what we were looking for. I also hired Gray Fox to make beautiful oak window seats for my business in downtown Harrisonburg, the Frame Factory & Gallery, where Gray Fox furniture is also on display.

Gray Foxx created a gorgeous credenza and shelves for our new home using yellow pine salvaged from our son's log house.

We are in love with our new table from Gray Fox! Our space required a custom design to maximize the seating options and Aaron worked with us to make the design come to life. We were also utilizing a gift certificate donated to the Collins Center and we love that Gray Fox supports important organizations in our community in this way. The staff are kind and down to earth, respectful and easy to work with. Many, many thanks and we look forward to the day we can gather our friends and family around our extended table.

Gray Fox Design Works built a beautiful walnut dining room table for us which we absolutely love! It has quickly become the centerpiece of our home. With the 5 leaves (stored so cleverly under the table top when not it use), the table can stretch from 5 to 10 feet in a matter of minutes and hosts large family gatherings. Recently, I also ordered several cutting boards of various sizes and woods - perfect to use for wedding and housewarming gifts. Of course, I will save one for myself! Aaron Johnston and his crew do impeccable work. I love following them on Instagram which showcases their many projects and beautiful craftsmanship.
