The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner

My stay was super luxurious and enjoyable. The service was amazing, and the staff are attentive, which is what I would expect at a Ritz-Carlton.||The hotel has several great amenities. The spa is super luxe and relaxing. The fitness center is also great! ENTYSE does not feel like a hotel restaurant. The menu is high end and the food is delicious, with great cocktail options too. If you want to do some shopping, Tysons Galleria for shopping is connected to the hotel, so its super convenient to pick up something if you need. ||I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a luxury getaway in Tysons Corner.

My wife and I have stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Tyson's Corner many times for both travel and leisure purposes. It is our favorite hotel in the greater DC area and we really have tried all the other "luxury" category Marriott properties here. The property is well maintained and convenient to restaurants/shopping (it is attached to the Galleria Mall). An added bonus is that they have a very nice indoor pool & spa, while most nearby options do not. |Most importantly the staff here is exceptional. |It is a large hotel, but somehow they manage to maintain a boutique-like experience.|During our most recent stay (on a Saturday) we celebrated our son's 6th birthday. The staff went out of their way to spoil him. The front desk, housekeeping and in-room dining service staff all made him feel special. High-fives, balloons, toys, cake, our little guy had a blast! They even took the time to send a personalized and hand written birthday card signed by numerous staff members. We do have Marriott status but we are by no means VIP guests. Kudos to the staff and management here this hotel is truly a standout. We will continue returning to this very special place!

I should have read the reviews before booking. The previous post is correct. This is Ritz in name only. The follow through was lacking. I requested a spa appointment prior to arriving. I was told I would be contacted back from the spa team. No one did. We did stay Club Lounge level. There is only one staff member up there. Not enough to do everything up there. We asked for simple things, like sheets for the pull out couch for the kids. That should have been done at turn down service knowing there is a family of four in a suite with only a king bed. We ended up having to ask twice. Once to the club staff. We gave them an hour to accomplish this. When we got back to our room it still was not done. We tried ourselves only to find no sheets for the bed. Called the front desk and thirty minutes later sheets came. This is now 10pm, way past the kids bed time. There were a multitude of other customer service issues. We will not be coming back to this property. I suggest someone head up to the Toronto Ritz Carlton for some relearning on the Ritz level of service exprected. It really feels like a lack of staff that is the root cause, then the staff that is here are not up to the standard.

My husband and I forgot our wedding dress and suit in our room closet after our trip. They kept my dress because it was a wedding dress but got rid of his 2000 dollar custom tux and said they dont know where it went. Its obvious someone took that. It still had the flower boutonniere from our wedding night with a matching tie and was found with a wedding dress. In what world would that be something reasonable to throw out??? We were in between addresses and moving so were waiting until we were at our new residency to get it shipped. Never did I think they would " toss or not hold on to" an obviously expensive suit. Im sure someone is loving wearing that. I'm flabbergasted at the we dont hold onto things after 30 days. So if someone left a 2000 dollar piece of jewelry you would toss it? Absolutely atrocious and will never go to the ritz again. What a horrible and disappointing way to end our honey moon.

What amazing stay!! I've stayed at the Ritz on a number of occasions, rarely have I blown away with an experience there where the staff really went out of their way to create an experience. We were staying her for my son's birthday and Leo appeared with a tent and all to celebrate (do select the option for a tent when traveling here with little ones). From checkin and throughout the stay, Bill created a wonderful experience with the room, the stay, exploring amenities as we spent most of our stay at the hotel. Guadeloupe at the concierge helped answer so many questions, while Aziza continued our celebration in the spa and pool, Hamza took extra care to help many needs at the room, the bellmen all super friendly and caring with transporting and setting up luggage. Everyone was genuinely excited and willing to help. Thank you again Ritz Tysons for an amazing stay! And if you're looking for a place close to DC, full of luxury and classy staff, look no further.

Ritz Carlton Tyson's Corner provided the highest level of hospitality. It was truly a five star experience.||||RECEPTION|| Valets were courteous and attentive. Bell services were quick to offer help with the bags and although there was a little bit of a wait, check in was a breeze. Front desk staff acknowledged my AmEx FHR booking and provided a welcome letter outlining the various FHR perks.||||FOOD AND BEVERAGE||Tasty breakfast in the restaurant with impeccable service. Did not dine on property for other meals as there are many restaurants in and around the Galleria including Yard House and Fogo de Chao.||||ROOMS||Spacious and tastefully appointed. Nothing not to like except for the bathrooms which were smallish for a 5-star hotel and include the 80's starter home hall bath layout: one sink, toilet next to standard shower/tub combo. If you are a dude, you are going to want to bring your own toiletries. The body wash and lotion supplied in the room are stinky... simply the worse scent ever! Definitely good for birth control.Surprisingly, the toiletries in the men's locker room are totally different and smell so much better, so you may want to shower down in the spa if you forget your own stuff.||||FITNESS CENTER||Glorious! Everything you could ask for in a hotel gym: dumbbells; kettle bells; barbells; Smith Machine; Cable machines; machines for chest, shoulders, back, and leg extensions. Full compliment of cardio machines but didn't love the ellipticals because only the resistance is adjustable but not the incline, so glutes won't be recruited and you don't get that full range of motion in your legs. Complementary fruit is a nice touch, but I'm not a fan of fresh fruit in areas with no oversight or surveillance. ||||As it turns out, dumbbells only go to 50 lbs. The expectation is dumbbells to 100 lbs in better hotel gyms.||||SPA||Pretty good for a non-resort spa and the ladies in there are great. They ensured I had everything needed. I had an 80-minute deep tissue massage from Nona and she did an outstanding job. If you request a deep tissue massage from Nona, be prepared to man up! She is going to bring the pressure and really get in there and work out those knots. I highly recommend her! Excellent steam room and adequate shower facilities. Lockers are not full length, so you may want to get two if you are bringing a change of clothes and don't want them wrinkled.||||Overall, the hospitality here is simply the best I have ever experienced. Every employee I encountered offered a warm greeting. ||||From the front desk to the spa, champagne here flows freely, which may explain why the congress can't submit a balanced budget! (LOL) If the bubbly stuff is your jam, you will have ample opportunity to indulge.||||The one negative here is the love affair with single use plastic water bottles. So many employees were quick to offer them up from the valets to the spa attendants as if we were back in 1995! To be fair, that has been my experience with some other hotels and resorts on the east coast that haven't made the move to refillable aluminum and water machines on each floor. Each plastic bottle of water contains 250,000 pieces of microplastics, so bring your own metal water bottles if you want to be kind to the environment and your organs.
